Treuil électrique de parapente conçu et réalisé en Lithuanie par l'équipe d'Igo Volkov.
Masse au décollage totale du Swiftlight et de son pilote 140kg, volets environ 12,5°, ligne d'un peu moins de 900m, puissance de treuillage 15KW, traction 90Kgf, vitesse linéaire atteinte 18m/s, vent nul, hauteur atteinte 260m, pilotage facile.
Swiftlight winch launch trials:
Winch designed for paragliders and built by Igor Volkov's team in Lithuania.
Takeoff weight 144kg, flaps #12,5°, line length a littel less than 900m, power 15KW, thrust 90Kgf, linear speed 18m/s, nil wind, height reached 260m, easy to fly.

That photograph guy , is standing too dam close to the hauling-in winch , if that cable snaps he could/ will get slashed by the flailing wire recoiling around that winch ! Should be taking videos sitting in the van .( common sense )

Synthetic tow rope dose not store energy so if it breaks there is no recoil.

What do you think happens when the toe rope is released by the pilot, it's the same as a snap. You haven't thought your comment through properly (even more common sense)

No thermals to hitch a ride up? What’s the point? I’d rather fly an ultra light or paraglider… Also, that’s a lot of work putting that bird together for such short rides…
