Last Eure Kinder Segelfliegen . Es lohnt sich . Vielen Dank für dass Video . 🙋‍♂️

One of the most fascinating things I know is flying! And as I was just a six years old child I started to learn all about flying an aircraft. Later in my teenage years, I've learned to fly gliders and small props and turboprop aircraft's to get my PPL for the start of my ATPL license and I got it! I flew several different aircraft's during my career and nowadays I fly the most iconic and most majestic aircraft ever in the sky - the Boeing 747-400F and the Boeing 747-8F for a cargo airline! Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous and amazing video here which I have seen in the resting compartment of my Boeing 747-8F in an altitude of 39.000 ft above ground eastbound towards my destination it was so relaxing to see! Have always a wonderful and great day with your flights and lovely greetings from Captain Sarah Sutter 🙋‍♀💕👍👌✈️

How many working apparatus from 1937 still work as designed and are not thrown away? Spreading the environmental impact from production and maintenance over nearly 9 decades, I have no figures, but it will certainly not be a very environmental unfriendly hobby.

This bungee launch, in this beautiful landscape, with these magnificent gliders, is something absolutely brilliant ! I love these old gliders ❤😊 I'm a former glider pilot, and was lucky to fly on Caudron C-800S, Castel C-25S, Avialsa A60, Aer Pegaso M 100S... (we had modern gliders at the club, but I had more fun flying on the old machines 🤭).

Some English subtitles with descriptions as asked in other comments apart from the Korean auto-captions: 1:05 A Moswey III built in Switzerland, Horgen in 1943, flown by 21 year old Ilayda, the first woman to launch from Rigi. 1:37 Ready to tug rubber dogs (people tugging the rope)? Tug the rope! Now the wind is blowing exactly from the front. 1:54 Attention, ready, launch! 2:43 [caption] The parts of the airplane have been transported from Vitznau to the top by the Rigi mountain railway. 5:01 The last launch today, a Spalinger S19 built in 1937, the oldest model launching today.

I have seen a video where a Duo Discus makes this kinda launch, but that was on a steeper slope and with a lot of wind (somewhere in England). But cool video, nice to see these old aircraft kept airworthy. The first aircraft is a K8 btw, I have many hours on that glider, there were hundreds still flying not so long ago.
