This was after his last show in Philly. Thursday and Saturday. Both of which I saw front row. I got to meet a legend and I am so honored. He has been one of the soundtracks of my 15 year relationship ever since my old man took me to my first show in 2009. I believe he deserved more for being in the industry for over 50 years and deserved way more accolades. Thank you Lord for allowing us to have this man grace us, young like me and older people. The first time my husband visited me, he browsed through my CASSETTE collection and he saw I had Frankie & Maze and I had Art Porter and he said he KNEW I was THE one! That was 29 years ago! We went every chance we got to see them. In different cities, too. Bought the merchandise! Hats, t-shirts, CDs, albums. And we'll NEVER say anything bad word about this genius and beautiful soul. Shame on those that have negative comments about Frankie or the band. Remember this, "if you REALLY want to be free, love is the key."

Frankie Beverly is/ was great there are a number of tribute bands even though Maze is still around the new singer lacks stage and vocal presence. I have been looking on KZbin and came across a very good band Durti-Ryce they are a band that also play tribute to FB now if you want to compare singers their singer Deron is very close great stage presence and the best vocals out of all the bands I have seen on KZbin I’m a fan but the band DurtiRyce featuring Deron is one of the better ones out there. You can judge for yourself now that the field is open. Enjoy FB fam!!
