I make a similar soup using butternut pumpkin in Australia, but I roast the pumpkin before putting it in the soup and blending it. It makes the pumpkin flavour sweeter and stronger. Sometimes, I substitute orange sweet potatoes for potatoes, again to make it little sweeter.

Ich hab mir jokemaessig ne Suppe gemacht mit Kobi, Zwiebeln, Hokkaido. lauch und Kartoffeln, dazu 50 g Margarine in die Suppe, etwas Remoulade und scharfen Ketchup rein, dann mit Salz, Pfeffer und Paprika gewuerzt. Schmeckt lecker.

finally one that I can do, I've been searching for a good recipe for pumkinsoup but they all had lots of stuff in it that I cant eat or dont like. this one only has garlic and I can do a snif of that so thats an easy fix. it looks delicious and I will defenitly try this one. thank you.
