Crispy, very easy and delicious recipe that is now my family favorite! This recipe is very simple, quick and easy to prepare! Everyone will love it! INGREDIENTS:
4 medium potatoes
2 eggs
frying oil
SPICES:
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup / 65g all-purpose flour
DIP SAUCE (OPTIONAL)
1 small shallot
1 tbsp capers
chives (optional)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp Sriracha
Black pepper

same that looks easy , only don't have deep firer , wondering if can be done in acti firer ? or shallow in pan oil , but the texture golden looks way better than mac/king certainly better than kfc where the fries look soggy

Obviously not because in this instance you’re using the oil to cook the chips in. When cooking chips in an air fryer, the circulating hot air is cooking chips pre-coated in oil.

Potatoes are carbohydrates, so they are not ideal for us diabetics, but you can reduce their impact on glucose levels by cooking and then cooling the potatoes (same for rice) which can significantly increase the resistant starch content. When potatoes are cooked and then cooled, some of the digestible starches in them retrograde, forming resistant starch. After cooking, allow the potatoes to cool in the refrigerator for several hours (overnight would be great... same with rice) before reheating or using them to make the chips (French fries). Resistant starch is a type of starch that resists digestion in the small intestine, thereby slowing down the absorption of glucose into the bloodstream. However, I reckon that if you have your blood sugar levels more or less under control with insulin or medication, eating something like this once in a while without going through all of the hassle of cooling it down, etc. is not going to kill you! Also, try to stick to small portions. It sucks, I know! Best wishes.
