My wife made the 1st recipe. She added extra carrots, and the dough mixture was only enough to cover the bottom of the pan so she had to make another mixture for the top. She also added shredded cheese on top. It was really good.

I love your recipes and your videos. Simple feeling and down home good. First meal my wife made was potatoes and sausage in her dorm room she turned into one of the best cooks. Cabbage potatoes and sausage have been our stable my daughter comes home she looks for potatoes and ground beef recipes like yours. I love the recipes! Real food cooked properly. Not a bunch of processed canned stuff with too much salt etc. that I see on too many KZbin videos with silly talking and wasted time. You cook the way my mother taught me. I loved seeing the glimpse of your little girl walk by and later she reached up for a piece of cheese. Precious!

Good evening 🌅 , Sophie, great recipes from the past, by the looks of it, I have been working on my workshop and it has a log burner in it, I have been trying recipes on it, from just an ordinary baked potato, with bacon and cheese and egg on top, to paella, and I done salmon tonight with potatoes and onion cheese and soya sauce peas and carrots on the side it was very delicious, my log burner has a large flat plate on top which I can put things on to cook, or I can put things into the ember’s fire itself, experimenting, nothing like the smell of food being cooked whilst you’re working, I’m hoping to start making furniture again when I got everything sorted out in my workshop, . Look forward to seeing more of you , with some new recipes, regards from me to you from France.

Hi Sophie, I love all your recipes snd meals. I TRULY appreciate that its very difficult to please everyone. Unfort, I am finding your " new pace" too fast, I have PTSD and get v anxious easily. So I found the v quick pace made me anxious and feeling rushed. I would ideally like a pace in between the v fast and v slow. However, I appreiate that you need to ideally do what gives you maximum views, every time. You are a great cook with lovely, tasty and very easy snd practical recipes so a big THANK YOU to you. I always love the background music.

If you’re having a hard time watching the faster paced videos I would recommend putting the vid on maybe 0.6x-0.7x speed instead of 1x, it slows the video down a bit just so it feels slower paced but not slow motion!

I too felt rushed and was wanting the slow pace, people don't realize the pressure she's under, and she can't and shouldn't have to please everyone because she can't! But you-- the viewing audience can express more grace and tolerance and stop being selfish thinking it's all about you! I, for one appreciate the laid back slower pace, and not one person watching preps, or cooks that fast! Otherwise-- there would be a lot of emergency room knife wound visits lol 😂

Put curser or if you have touch screen place finger over upper right of video and click the settings icon and a bar will pop up to slide left or right to adjust speed to fast or slow. Hope this helps.
