I have to comment on this because its like a very old dish my grandfather made when I was very young. I grew up in Montana and they called it hamburger steak and well it didn't have the wine or the mushrooms. But it did have the patties of ground beef made the same way and instead of the gravy you made it was very simple with a very browned onion and pan gravy. Yours reminds me of it and something that I have not had in a very long time. Thank you
