Great video. It is a shame that youtube's algorithm does very little to promote it cuz a lot of cat owners can benefit from this information. Your whole presentation is educational and informative. Like with my own health, I care a lot about a cat's microbiome health, enzymes and vitamins/minerals absorption from quality food.

Wonderful research and information Jess, Thank you so much. I offen think if I knew about these back when I was trying to give my cats the best foods that I could find. They would have lived much longer. I had kept them mostly inside and made sure they were not exposed to toxic things, even the plants I had inside. And, especially the water they drank. Only the best purest water filter I could find. Back years ago, I use to make their own food by getting the most best types of food at markets. By doing all of these things, my Tigger lived a long life of 35 years. 🌿💖🐈🐾

Yes I remember you telling me about your Tigger at 35 years!!! That's amazing and a goal I'm striving for! I have a section coming up about water and I'm going to talk about water quality and testing too. Super excited!

I'm so glad!! I've found that I retain the same way hearing and seeing. I'm glad it wasn't boring lol I'm going to build out the course to include the PDFs so people can always go back and re read or use them to study if they don't want to watch the whole video.

I saw that in one of your videos you portion your viva raw food and then refreezed the meat? I was told once its defrosted that it has to be fed within 3 days I only have 2 cats for viva raw meat which comes in only 2lb is a bit difficult because i want to change out proteins The question is if you defrost in the fridge can you refreeze and whats the best method to keep the food frozen without freezer burn?
@kristyknox1734 Жыл бұрын
Great question I have the same one, I have only heard that you can once so still???
@jesscaticles Жыл бұрын
As long as you thaw it in the refrigerator you can refreeze it. Never thaw on the counter or in the microwave. Right now I use freezer bags and freezer friendly containers but I think the ideal situation would to be a food vacuum sealer. I think I'm going to invest in one soon so I will make a video about that as soon as I get one!

Are those dt 990 headphones on your shelf? How do you like them? I appreciate these information dense videos. Helps me retain things and follow along when I can read since I'm a horrible listener.
@jesscaticles Жыл бұрын
I'm glad the slides help! I feel the same way about learning. I like to see visually and read along while I listen. The headphones are DT 770 pro. I like them a lot but honestly I only got them because my boyfriend has the same ones lol he said these are good for editing etc. He produces music and games and has been using them forever. I just got these a few months ago, but he's had a pair for years.

This is a great video, by The Voice! I hope you don't mind, if I share it and refer people to it. I'm in a slow transition. I feed my two a mix of wet food, with raw ground beef or chicken. I found out, they like brocolli, so I mix that in too.
@jesscaticles Жыл бұрын
Please share with everyone, thank you!! Broccoli is used by some, esp in Dr. Becker's book. But she says not to use it daily because broccoli and other cruciferous veggies are rich in iodine so you don't want to overdo it.
