I do the same I put the cook meat in the freezer I take it out and thaw it in the fridge the day before as needed my cat eats 3 x a day because he is a kitty 6 months .

Rocky is on Viva Rabbit Complete, and won't transition to any other meat variety. And I want to move him along to more fresh whole food homemade variety. Your video is going to help me do that. I have 4 cats. The outside one used to be inside and has forgotten how to hunt. I have your recipes, but it is kind of overwhelming even just thinking about getting started.

Every new routine / change / skill / learning experience / etc is overwhelming in the beginning! Just take it one step at a time (: There are chapters in the video. Focus on one / month. Plan for this month then come back next month and watch step 3 (since you already have recipes from step 2!).

Hi Jess so I could give my cat ground cook food and add sardines together with know better premix. Since ground meat is not too frozen in the market can be a little worry is cooking it can be better. What about if I go to a meat hardware where they grind the meat for me is that safer. The meat place is called Casa Blanca meat . They only have all kinds of meat and eggs

Hi Jess, I’m kind of concerned now because as I explore more recipes like using ground beef and ground turkey I just buy what’s in the display case at the meat department, should I not buy it there? It has to be in the frozen section? I’m concerned that I might not be able to find especially the turkey. And honestly buying pre-ground has made my life a lot easier lol. I do have a grinder but it’s easier to buy ground Turkey then trying to find whole pieces of turkey in the frozen section.

Personally I don't know a single person who has ever had any issues feeding ground meat as part of a pets raw diet 😅 I commonly include ground turkey, beef and pork if that's all that's available or just for a change of texture. I know hundreds of raw feeders who do the same without issue 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm sure using the ground meat will be fine. My mom uses pre thawed ground meats for her dogs and cats. As I show in the video. But I have to be responsible and let you know the risk. Basically, here is the information, but what you do with that information is completely up to you. Maybe speak with your meat department manager and ask what day/time it's stocked. Perhaps there are frozen ones in the back that you can purchase before they put it out to thaw. Or grab a pack that is farther back and has less access to the bright lights.

I buy the same thing u buy but I cook the ground meat for my cat is best if u concerned he loves it I use know better premix with every vitamins supplements in it as Jess showed in one of her videos.

Hi Jess, I love your detailed videos! I see most of your recipes are for adult cats. I’m prepping for the arrival of our new baby (14 week old) Maine coon. We pick him up Sept 2nd. Do you have specific kitten raw diet recipes? Breeder is feeding him raw and kibble I believe. ❤

Hello! I do not have any kitten recipes at this time, sorry! But it's important to continue feeding the kitten exactly what he's eating now so he's not put through too many changes at once. Hi! We are currently struggling with one of our cats that everyone believes to have a food allergy. Would this be a good way to limit their diet and then slowly start adding the ingredients? They recommended a hypoallergenic kibble- but without a large and VERY costly panel they cannot be forsure that if the specific allergens are not in the hypoallergenic food, just in a different form, id that makes sense. We just feel like we are going in circles and dont know how to best help him!

I am feeding my cats raw for neary 4 years but last year or so they lost their appetite and lost some wait. I tried different things but I am not seeing any changes. I don't want to go back kibble they dont like that too but I am not sure what to do right now. They are probably bored of beef and chicken but in my country I can't get rabbit or pork.

My six boys don't take time to transition.into anything... they literally have eaten anything and everything 😂😂 Obviously, everything kitty approved but still Not picky eaters...
