Awesome lesson, Adam! I teach English to Brazilians, and I appreciate the way you teach. I'm currently teaching the structures "I would like..." and "I will have..." to be used in a restaurant setting, so this lesson will be a good addition to my explanation about the usage of "will" and "would" in the future, after they feel comfortable using those other structures. Hi Adam, your video was great and your explanation was extremely clear. In speech, people usually use a mixed conditional by using "would" instead of "will" in the first conditional sentence, e.g.: "If she wants to get a promotion, she would need to make more sales". [1] Can we interprete the meaning of the sentence just like your explanation for the sentence "in order to get a promotion, she would need to make more sales" ? [2] Is this kind of mixed conditional grammatically correct ? I'd appreciate your help. Best regards,

Hi Adam, how's it goin'?. Long time no see, that was an excellent explanation Adam. I understood everything you said but I've got a question for you: - How come there's no such a thing as formal and informal verbs in terms of usage ?. I mean, as an example: - I understand that you use the verb "to remove", like in: "remove your shoes" but you can also say: "Take off your shoes" or "Take your shoes off" In this case it's a phrasal verb. BUT I had always thought that: - "remove" is the formal way to say it, the one you would use in an essay. - "take off" is the informal way to say it, the one you use when talking to people in the streets. I see it that way but now that you said that, would you be so kind to give a deeper explanation of what you meant to say by that ?.
