always great little bits of info (packing shoes closer to the wheels of the suitcase), with examples of disconnect from how casual real boardrooms are. basically whenever GG says you can "get away with" something, it means that's what the most well-dressed person in the room will likely be wearing. if you WANT to be dressed up, this is great advice, but this is by no means the NECESSARY level of dress

Disciplined, Planning ahead, knowing the schedule or try to understand in advance of dressing situation (also choosing body language and lingo as per occassions) I think are very basics for gentlemans (and I am far from that) If I am right, are these qualities same to become rich right way? Gentleman's quality doesn't comes cheap. I love your channel because you talk more and more about quality more about the heritage, experiences of brands, this was the thing even missing while searching on Google, I'll explain you put any keyword in Google you will find it, just prefix quality with it i.e. quality components, quality phones and you wouldn't find the straight answer/ product Until recently. Really like that you don't use term "$20 watch will show you the time as $2000 one" ofcourse this will be a sin here to say such thing. I don't own any of the stuff you shown but I would love to earn them I am a lover of quality and ergonomics. It makes me very sad sometimes that a heritage brand cut the corners, had such experience while shopping a pair for an interview even though I was able to find my need of fit & quality in that brand I found that for premium prices they cut too much corner in quality, sad. If I don't talk about ultra expensive brands, people with mediocre income buy them for their quality (yes some relatively poor people also love quality) and it takes a good saving spent on such items, unfortunately even heritage brands thinks that it is only for show off and anyway rich won't mind throwing it out in garbage and still buy your brand because it's a showoff item! I know who will read my comment, but hey I have valid points.

If someone spills on your dress shirt, why would you look to get it dry-cleaned? Shirts get laundered, not dry-cleaned.
@jamieparker40106 жыл бұрын
depends on the grade of shirt as I have owned a number of dress shirts from brandless and lower-mid brand (YSL and Gucci) cotton's that are just regular laundry to a full silk Christian Dior that had to be dry-cleaned

I dont mean to offend you, but iv never run into anyone during my business trips with your style. Something telle me you like the 1940s to 1950s. For me this looks like something a country village doctor in England would wear. Off course, you own the style, but i think its a bit to old fashion to actually work. Its just like those tennis V-neck sweaters you keep showing. Its so 1930s.

Brennan Hicks if you don't like fade, that's fine. But his hair is starting to look messy. It needs to be cleaned up. Especially since he is dressed sharply.
@ihavekalashnikovyoudomath9275 Жыл бұрын
4:09 Maybe I'm not that fashion conscious yet, but I don't see how seeing an undershirt is so bad. If you keep a dress shirt unbuttoned, and it's low enough to see chest hair, it's better to see an undershirt. I would rather see an undershirt than some random guy's hairy or bare chest. It's rude, and he should have a crew cut shirt on. Not a deep V. Or at least wear an ascot, something to cover the chest.
@johngalt2345 жыл бұрын
With respect, I believe that most of your fashion advice comes from the 1930s. Double breasted suits, pronounced pinstripes, and fedoras are all out of style.
