The WRSI elbow pads are the best investment I've made beyond the standard gear.

As far as shoes go, I used to wear nrs neoprene slippers/shoes, but recently got Astral Hiyaks. I must say I was reluctant to get these, but I really love them. They are super comfortable and sturdy. I can’t imagine boating without them.,

I have heard a lot of good things about the Hiyaks!

Which breakdown paddle do you have in this video? I’m a big Werner fan and am curious which one that you like/recommend/etc. Thanks for the informative videos! ALL FORWARD! 🫵🤘🛶

That is an Aquabound 4 pc. The Werners are great!

I have those exact elbow pads, work great, After ripping elbow open on table saw trying to roll. What about shorts, I hear rumors that since we wear skirts then it’s the same rule as kilts!😜

You ever mount your Gopro on the outside/front of your boat for back shots? What mount if you do? (Adhesive, suction, screwed down)? Thx
@RiverKingsKayak2 жыл бұрын
I do! Here is some footage from said arrangement... kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWS2YqynpMZrrsU I use a RAM mount with the gripper clamp on the back grab handle...

@@RiverKingsKayak Cool! You ever roll with that on the back? Helmet cam mounts worry me too.

Wanting to plan my first trip for WW to Nantahala soon - not exactly a beginner but not too experienced on WW either - my question is how common is it for a single like me to join in with some others in order to not be alone on the river??

I’d be down to go. Let’s set something up
@RiverKingsKayak2 жыл бұрын
It just totally depends of the groups you run into! I go with folks like you all the time. Other folks are a little more cautious at times. On a run like the Nanty, you should be able to link up with folks.
