My ONLY question, how come you walked you RIGHT past the Catawba White Zombie, and NOBODY is enjoying a BREW with their Burgers? LOL.

I don't like when people keep sticking their filthy ugly dangerous dogs in their videos. It has nothing to do with cicadas and it just perpetuates the idea everyone loves dogs when plenty of people don't. Then some dog nutters get the notion it's okay to bring them into stores. I'm tired of it

I appreciate that you showed the three rope types next to each other. I currently run a paracord with prusiks, nite ize micro s-beaners, and use a truckers hitch to finish. I already own one of the metal camlocks and want a smaller diameter limited stretch rope like the Dyneema. This vid helped with my decisions, Thanks!

I don’t playboat it’s above my skill level LOL but wouldn’t the current help you get back up into this move in the river? Meaning you can probably nail it already on the river!
@RiverKingsKayak

yes and no. It can work for you or against you depending on how you are oriented to the current...just like any roll. You just need to keep your orientation to the current when you are setting things up.

@RiverKingsKayak
@RiverKingsKayak 22 сағат бұрын
I shutter at the thought. They are sooo heavy and soooooooo slooooooow and have almost no performance quality in whitewater. They are indeed incredibly comfortable though! If I was slow floating for fish or going on a lazy float trip on flatwater then that might be good option. We will regularly go 40+ miles a day on our trips and the fishing kayaks simply cant do that.

At 6:41 is that a boat friendly boof? I’ve seen that rock the few times I’ve ran Noli but wasn’t sure about it. It’s been around 2k when I’ve been. Looked fine in your vid but idk if you ended up with a big gouge or anything
@RiverKingsKayak

No, it felt really good. The guys told me about it and they all hit it (cant see in the footage due to the distance). Deana missed it but I hit it pretty good. When I got up on it it looked TERRIBLE but I went on faith LOL. Turned out to really go well. The immediately following boom clip is of the same boof as well (different camera angle). Felt really smooth and launchy with no boat abuse feel or sounds. No gouges or dents etc...But yes, I would never had tried that one without the beta.

Hey Troy! 1800 cfs on the upstream gauge, but with plenty of natural flow on the creeks from overnight and early morning rains, so likely upwards of 2000 cfs in the gorge.
