Hey everyone! It seems I made a tiny slip-up at 4:22. I mistakenly stated that T2 equals 4/5, when in fact, it should be 3/5. Also, I switched integers and rational numbers at 2:35 and at 20:23 the identity should be sin(x)=cos(x-pi/2). I am sorry for the typos.

Also at 2:35, you switched integers and rational numbers.

@@jeremy.N Thank you, I will watch the video at least a couple of times before I hit the publish button next time 😆

If you don't have the time to change the video with the corrections, I suggest editing the video quickly with a text overlay pointing out the corrections.

@@cthutuThanks for the tip. I will implement it asap. Sorry for responding so late, I've been busy with uni, and I missed your comment.

Beautiful explanation :'). It takes a lot of effort to produce such kind of contents.

I checked for more videos on this channel since this part two came up in my recommended, and I'm extremely surprised you only have these two videos on your channel. The quality and length is amazing for a new channel, reminds me of Nemean (although I think his channel exploded a bit quicker because of the very clickable Quake math video).

Thank you for your kind words and comparison! You're right about making more clickable videos, I will try to focus more on that aspect.

Could you do an episode where you integrate some reaction-diffusion equations on the diffuse color fields of smooth/rough surfaces? Some spiral wave kinetics would be really pretty... Landau-Ginzburg, Fitzhugh-Nagumo, and especially Fenton-Karma may support emergent spiral waves.

Hi! That sounds like an exciting idea. However, I am not sure when I will return to texturing topics (the next video will be on procedural noises, and after that, I was thinking about some procedural geometry generation). But I will look into it and might cover it in the upcoming months.

Seems like cos(x+π/2)= - sin(x), skipped minus before sin on 20:23, (in the second quadrant the cosine is negative), the rest is perfect, I still have to rewatch to understand how it all works with texture, great work! Thank you!

Thanks for pointing that out. You're right! The shift is in the wrong direction. It should be either "sin(x)=cos(x-pi/2)" or "cos(x+pi/2)=-sin".
