candiedfir7 Funny enough 2 more Mi A1's are on their way to my mom and dad. I'll have a look at their performances. They were about to buy a new Samsung for about the same amount of money but luckily I was able to prefent from buying pieces of $h¡t. Samsungs mid-range phones really aren't worth the money in my opinion. Not hating on Samsungs flagships though.

Alloy The Raccoon I can understand why it isn't for everyone. And I was kind of apprehensive about the headphone jack at first. But I pretty much use Bluetooth for everything now and they provide a nice braided dongle if I wanna use a wired pair, so I really haven't had any problems.

Noah Barnhart It's a good phone, especially at the price point. Display is gorgeous, it's IP 54 so it can get rained on with no problem, and it runs smoothly. Honestly I love my note 8 but if the essentials phone was IP67 rated or higher and had an AUX port I would have chosen it over my GN8

Jerry maybe there are so many brackets and tape over the connectors because like you said, it can not be opened, so when other phones are dropped, and a connector unclip you can repair that, and they put those to be sure that doesn t happen. Thank you so much for quality content.

The Essential Phone is in fact IP54 Water and Dust resistant. If you go to the website and scroll down to the specs it's there. I believe this was a late addition to the website as I do not recall it being there on release.
