Good refresher! Learned a couple of new ones - level off (ceiling to floor example) and the do over skill. Thanks!

Love the videos!! If I could say I had any beef with hand signals it would be the lack of consistency on some of them. I don't know how many different ones I've seen over the years for safety stop, end a dive and response to how much air do you have left. It can be confusing to newer divers for sure.

Agreed Daniel. That is why when diving in anew location or with a Divemaster or a guide. Part of the predive planning should be a review of what hand signals are to be used. There are some variations from location or location.

How to ask if I can touch that? A rock or a coral for example.

You need to expand on the “don’t hold your breath” as this is not true! Tec Divers learn holding their breath skills in an out of air situation. you should clarify “Dont hold your breath and ascend”
@everythingscuba2 жыл бұрын
We will expand upon that and even clarify that the term “don’t hold your breath” is actually incorrect. The correct term should be “maintain an open airway”…….but in this video we never actually said……”don’t hold your breath”, we said, “don’t stop breathing”…..two different things. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.
