Thanks for watching! It is a great option for LA in the upper grades. They do also have for younger grades as well (I think starting in 1st), but we only started in 6th.

If use Fix it from IEW, is there a reason you use EIW rather than IEW for writing?

Good question! I think because Fix it grammar is an easy and quick thing to add in, but IEW writing has always seemed so hefty to me. I don't think my oldest especially would love the longer videos and I'm afraid it would kill her love of writing.

Would you recommend Level 6 for a reluctant writer (7th grader) rather than this Level 7??

The place where you order on the essentials in writing site…it lists digital price and then the print price. It is $20 cheaper to get digital. Then when you sign in, you will have access to the digital and be able to print it out.

@@lisacg4438 That's the only one you need to print, but you would still need the streaming videos to get the full effect of this course.
