Lmao, I figured it out after I broke a partial nail off my thumb. Take the inserts out first, then use a rigid flat object ( I used my wide blade knife) to separate velcro to re-insert the kydex inserts.

For everyone struggling to insert the kydex again because of the velcro. Slide paper in there first, then slide the insert into position and remove the paper. So much easier, works on Spiritus rigs too because they can be a nightmare.

Thanks for the video. It was a huge help. For those of you like me who purchased the midlength version, you only use the top three rows(it is posted on the website as well). Everything worked like you showed it. You are right that it is a pain in the butt weaving it. Mine is on my shellback tactical rampage 2.0 placard which made it a lot easier than having to manipulate it on the a full vest.

Another helpful tip is to use a rigid zip tie and feed it through the WTFix strap and then feed the ziptie through the webbing; then pull it through :D no need to remove the kydex or stretch out the webbing! You can get through all 4 straps in less than a few minutes :)

@@3KindsOfGuns it also helps if you bend the belt backwards a little to create a gap in the webbing. I had to convert a cereal spoon to a crack spoon to make sure i had the correct tools.

Thanks bro ! Great video. So tip I figured out - THE SPOON ! - Use it for everything. When pushing the strap through the molle on the belt, put top of the strap on the spoon. Push the spoon through the first belt loop and set the tip of strap on TOP of spoon. It sticks because the material of the strap. Guide er on through. Money. Edit: same when weaving through mag pouch

Did this as well. Bro tip go ahead and save pushing that wft strap through the mag pouch until the end attach to belt first then run the strap all the way through the mag pouch.

butter knife takes less than 30 seconds each. put it in spin it couple times then fold the strap over the tip and it goes right in.

Don’t know if you figured this out yet or not, but bend your belt the opposite way (bending belt molle inwards), and the molle will now expand making it a lot easier to snake whatever system you have through. Great video by the way

When you put the straps in every row it makes it as if it is actually sewn into the belt or what ever you are attaching it to. I do it just for that piece of mind, I hate my stuff flapping around

That is true. I've been running that set up for a while now, and do not wish I used more. It's very secure, and stays tight to the belt. More certainly wouldn't hurt anything though.

Thanks for the video man. Needed something thin to go through the little slits of a kydex sheath for a punch dagger on the front of my tactical baby carrier lol🤣. The standard button straps would not fit through and i didnt want to use zip ties like a peasant. 🤷🏻♂️

Very helpful video, thank you for taking the time to show us a few tips & tricks! Looking at about the same setup (WPS battle belt & kywi pouches). How do you like the magazine spacing on this 2+2 side by side setup? I was thinking of doing all individual pistol/rifle pouches or double pistol gap & individual rifle pouches just so I can change/customize the belt if needed but it looks more like a fight it once and leave it system. Oh yeah, thumbs up for sure!

I ordered this war belt , and an esstac double mag pouch. I got that flex leg adapter you got for my safariland holster. I haven't gotten my belt yet , so I was just wondering does one of the belt buckles come off to throw the flex leg adapter on? Or how did you get that on? I bet it's simply , I was just wondering.

3 Kinds Of Guns I am using the shorts! I actually pulled the second portion of the tabs through the last slit in the straps to get it as tight as possible. I then tucked all the excess up inside the Kywis. Over time it will work its way out to where it will have a slight flop. They make a WTFix keeper that has multiple sizing tabs and I think it would be great if they designed their standard WTFix strap with that same design. Would completely eliminate any sizing issues.

Wtfix straps are cheap, and not as bulky as most MOLLE straps

@@3KindsOfGuns The Esstac mag pouches are not exactly cheap so while I appreciate the potential savings I would prefer a strong 50 gram heavier mag pouch over three pieves two of which are weaker and far more fiddly than regular straps. But that's just me :)
