I tested the estee lauder primer around 4 times until now. Its the first one I tried on, I have oily skin and I bought this one because I thought it will be the best to use with estee lauder foundation. Each of those times my skin looked bad and I had to redo my makeup. Usually the nose and the close area to it looks the worst for me. I tested it with an wet sponge and 2 different types of brushes. The best looking makeup is when I dont use this primer 😢

Heeey! Could you please recommend some of your favorite foundations for daily use? Something that is long lasting, but not as long lasting as Double Wear. I have a combination skin, so sometimes I get dry patches and I'm still looking for a good foundation. I love Este Lauder, but it's not for a daily use...

You mentioned about a month ago that your skin was "purging" due to a new skin care regimen. A reaction cause by increased turnover should be improving by now. An inflammatory reaction may be occurring, or even an infection may have developed because the new irritation makes the skin more susceptable to infection. Please check with your dermatologist. If a dermatologist is not monitoring the new regimen, please reduce the use or see a dermatologist. If glycolic, lactic, or salicyclic are part of the regimen, reducing the frequency of that product might help. If a retinol is involved, you might want to reduce its frequency for while and then increase again. Again, please check with your dermatologist, and if you do not have one, please take the advice above. "Purging" does not last this long. Purging describes the appearance of lesions that would have occurred anyway and are just seen sooner due to the increased turnover. Many problems can occur with a new skin care regimen that people will label purging but are actually other issues. Thank you for your videos. Please do not apply new products to that part of your face until the new skincare regimen problem has been resolved. You can still demonstrate eye makeup and other products away from the area.

@@debrawiggins9254 Thank you very much for your concerns. The new skincare routine is from Biologique Recherche and it was mentioned to me that the purging phaze is normal for 2-3 months. I guess i will see something in the next weeks. 🙂
