This is how all communities, especially during the earliest of Islam in far away places like Crimea, South America, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, et al. It always began with one people, and then one after another everyone slowly helps develop the community contributing what they can. Drawing inspiration from Japanese Muslims or Spanish Muslims, the dawa should assimilate with culture, encompassing art, language, food, architecture, attire, ancient wisdom, law, and morality. It should incorporate Slovak symbols that distinguish it from other European cultures. Nurturing organic cultural growth. You will need support from a Slovak scholar who is an expert in culture and fiqh. Navigating this path can be a minefield at times and requires careful crafting. We Indonesians have our own Nusantara culture, which includes Muslims in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei.

Salamalaykum brother Jan, my wife is from Slovakia Bratislava to be specific, and now whenever I visit Slovakia, which is I do so often always struggle to find a place to pray. Sometimes we in the rooms in some buildings, sometimes We end up in basement.. our brother, Abu Shabib, who is the owner of the orient shop near the old town he knows some places for prayers. You need to come to Banská Bystrica. Actually there is a mosque near Orient potraviny called Cordoba. I usually pray there when I go to Slovakia.

This is amazing Mashallah my father just opened a mosque and to have a place to pray and have a mosque is a big deal. Not only is it a place for other Muslims to come from far, each prayer is multiplied in the mosque and for that it doesn’t matter if there are a few people. My father's friends started an Islamic center here in Norway for Iraqis who fled during the 1991 revolution. It was mostly kurds and iraqis. Now it holds Sudanese, Afghanis, Iranians, Egyptians, Somalis, Pakistanis and Syrians. All under one faith, Alhamdulillah.

My advice to you brother is to remeber to educate yourself in the din and to always look into your innerself and to purify it. Another thing is that you're in a perfect situation to facilitate knowledge and books into Slovak, maybe hire translators to translate videos in english/arabic into slovak (subtitles or dubs). An important point you realized there - the energy you’re riding on will not last - make the most of it while it lasts. Don’t let the highs get you too high, and the lows get you too low. Your role, as you correctly point out is to have the vision, share that vision and have everyone work towards achieving it. Another key point bruh, is to motivate your peeps to bust through obstacles/setbacks when they inevitably arise. That is a major task on your shoulders and it is a heavy burden to bear. That's great. Invite a great architect, make an unique design of the mosque, organize open iftars. 🤲🤲🤲 In Almaty almost all mosques are near bazaars and railway stations and they are dirty of smog. Build a mosque in a good neighbourhood, in the downtown, so people from all over the city could easily reach it. May Allah guide you and give you a chance to build a mosque. 🤲🤲🤲

mashAllah you're doing really great job . for now what I recommend it's to work with a Slovak reverts who are intersted at first place by themselves and help them towards the journey of becoming knowledgable about Arabic, fiqh, aqeedah and Islam topics in general etc and after that to became imams of local masjids in Slovakia. I'm behind the opinion that especially in Eastern Europe it should be the locals who run the communities for sake of improving the deen in a specific country because the goverments there are pretty strict and conservative towards minorities and when there's a local in charge it will bring only good because of the mutual respect and understanding each other via laws, culture, language etc. may Allah protect you and help you in your next steps towards building Islam in Slovakian region

Establishing the local Madinah al Munawwarah as a centre for all activities as how Rasulullah saw & the early Muslims, is the so essential starting point(in my opinion). I pray that this small tiny space of masjid, will one day become the the great mosque of Slovakia and the region with it's majestic adzan in the air 5 times daily. As long as we adhere to the way of Rasulullah saw & companions rhm, Insyaallah it will be success in the sight of Allah swt. May Allah swt bless and open the way to all your efforts n sacrifices.
