I actually met Esteban in like '99 in Flagstaff at a tiny little used bookstore where he was playing his guitar. It was the first time I'd ever heard a guitar played like that and it was incredibly moving. I think all I could say was "so beautiful, thank you" and my name. lol And then I sat down and cried. Pff. It really is absolutely beautiful playing.

All I can say is thank you Esteban,this is a clear indication that there are just two guitarist Esteban and the others. I am 55 years old and I have been knowing this tune since I was a young Boy growing up and there is a particular way this tune is sang in my native language,it is a tune that resonates with me such that it makes me remember those good old days. I listen to guitar music every chance I get. Esteban is at the top of my list. A few years ago I picked up one of Esteban's guitars for something to practice while traveling for my job. I had the chance to look at quite a few of them and found one that was well made, had good action, and was easy to play. I still play it today. For my purposes, it was the best money that I've ever spent. Esteban, please upload more of your solos.

I was just a kid when I'd see him on, I believe it was PBS, or possibly home shopping network / HSN, & fell in love with his style, & his music, I couldn't wait for him to come back on the television, I was glued to the TV, I always dreamed of being able to have the money someday somehow to buy his guitar, & DVD set that taught people how to play the guitar, but I was just to young to do anything about it, I wanted to play just like him someday, but we just couldn't afford it , & we were poor, I was just a youngster, there just was nothing I could do, he's awesome, & his guitars we're so beautiful, I loved the black 1 with the beautiful roses on it, I guess it just wasn't meant to be, & now it's to late to get that deal he was given away
