I first heard Esteban sometime in late 1985. He was at an arts and crafts fair in Cave Creek Arizona. He was promoting his CD and playing live. My wife and I followed Esteban when he played different venues around the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. We have all of his CDs autographed by Esteban. Enjoy his playing and it is what I have on when it is lazy day in the sun.

This song was my parents FAVORITE song. I wish they could of heard this one. No matter where they were , when this song played, they ran to one another to DANCE. They were born in Germany. They were FANTASTIC DANCER'S. People would STOP dancing to watch them. And they didn't KNOW, because they ONLY had EYES for each other. My mom taught my dad to dance. This is the BEST WAY I EVER heard this song. THANK YOU so very much. My dad loved music. Especially the way you are playing. They went to Mexico 3/4 times each winter from Michigan. My dad made over 1,000 cassette's. Yes cassette's. He loved flamenco music ALOT. He taught me ABOUT different kinds of MUSIC. THANK YOU and GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU. SUCH A TREASURE YOU HAVE. I like pure classical playing, without a lot of electronic effects, and I don't need hats and sunglasses for image. BUT - I really enjoy this! The players bring life to this song. The arrangements -- including his variations on the Tarrega -- add to the song, not distract from it. And they are having fun. And it's great to watch dad and daughter play together (and she plays beautifully!!!). I'm sort of a purist, but there's a time for everything. Thumbs up on this one.
