Have to agree. I have ended up with a wonky bob 2 months ago, one side higher and in layers , other side fine. It’s still a mess and it doesn’t help I have thin hair! 😩🙄🤷‍♀️

Thank you I just paid 100 $ for a silk press and was told I need a hair cut because my ends are bad . The girl told me she can't cut it and my silk press look like a blow out so now I'm going to cut it and fix it wish me luck. Your technique has been the easiest u have seen so far ..

Wow, thank you for this! I've been wanting to get layers in the back of my hair forever, and knew I'd probably end up crying if I went a salon, bc I've never once liked a haircut they gave me. I did this, and not perfectly, and with a few inches cut off the back, no big piles of hair on the floor, my hair looks so much more stylish and more volume in the back! I recommend ppl be cautious cutting your own hair tho, cut very little to start. If doing it yourself, it's much harder to hold hair straight out back and cut it while looking in tri-fold mirror. Best to think hard and understand results can disappoint so you don't make yourself unhappy. But helped me a lot, thank you.

Per my initial comment....i just finished. So far it doesn't look too bad, i didn't cut the back as short as in the video (more can be cut off if needed, but you can't put it back on if initially cut too short). Gonna use straightening iron on back & sides, 1" curling iron across the top. I think it's gonna look good 😊
