What a fun product. Being an old surfer, I remember going to the beach taking in a few waves before school. I had 'piecey' hair before it was popular! Hi Taz, what a difference on that wig, with the sea salt made! -A sweetheart down below in the comments also made her own wig spray with sea salt & I’m sure excited to try that. -I am wondering if you could ever consider making some homemade sprays of your own, such as Butterflykisses and doing a video with recipes and all on this idea. I did this to my wig two week old Caliente and now the ends are flat and a bit stiff. I wonder if I have to wash it out now? I used the same product. I am a beginner wig wearer! I think that I did the wrong thing by just putting it on the ends. UGH!

I recently purchased "New Wave" by Tressallure (in part influenced by your review, btw). I like it a lot, but it's a bit more straight than I thought it would be, especially given the way it looks on the model in the primary ads for it. She looks like she's using this sea salt spray in it! So I'd like to try it, but I'm trying to switch to cruelty-free products as much as I can. I searched the web, and can't find the ingredients. Hi there! Yes, it can be used in Human Hair. To my knowledge, it only comes in scented at the moment. The scent is medium strong if you use as much product as I did. The scent fades slightly but is still detectable after days of application. XOXO

What's the best way to add some darker strands to a wig that is too yellow on me? I have a Tressalure wig that I cannot return. I got it home and in natural light it is too "one-color" of yellow. I don't use much product because I have to wash the wig more often and it attracts dirt from my experience. I don't notice any dryness with this product, but once used, it will need to be washed out to remove the product. Hope this helps! XOXO

I made a new batch of sea salt spray today. Get a spray bottle, fill it with bottled water, use 2 tablespoons sea salt of your choice, 3 drops of Lavender essential oil, and a few drops of Argan oil. Shake it up and spray :) try it ladies!

Or if you live near the ocean you can go to the beach and get salt water in a spray bottle put some lavender oil and argan oil in it and then you have true sea salt spray :)

We have a wig store in town - its the kind that sells the cheaper end wigs and hairpieces. Lots of the pieces are very curly. I've noticed they sell a brand of regular hair sea salt spray among the dozens of specialist wig products they have on offer so I kind of suspect there may not be that much difference. Wouldn't want to test my theory out on a really expensive piece though!
