Very nice video, thank you for sharing! If you see a pro playing on stage, it looks all so easy that noone can imagine what insane hard work has been invested to make it sound like this... memorizing a whole concert without running into the wrong direction later is also some kind of magic. I'm happy when I was able to memorize a few lines.

I always wonder if professional violinist / soloist continue with lessons from someone after graduating from Juilliard / Royal School of Music or wherever with a Bachelors or Masters degree. Are they completely on their own to learn new music and prepare for new performances where the stakes are so high to not screw up AT ALL !! ? Seems like an immense amount of pressure to me. NO ONE knows everything or is completely prepared after graduation from any school. Would love to have Esther make a video explaining how professional musicians further their expertise after graduation and performing in the 'real world'. I am not dissing her at all, but I would really like to know how they continue to hone their craft. I mean watching these practice sessions is interesting and all, but she is going to be playing that music in front of hundreds of paying people who would not be the least bit understanding of anything less than an epic performance, every time. - No Pressure !! - Does she not have anybody to help her learn this music ??

you’re doing great. just keep practicing those runs, you’re like me. i’m such a profectionist that i gotta listen to my shifts right in tune and bowings too. try doing that passage without vibrato then 2 finger octives, plus try and stand straight when playing. really listen to your shifts, the way you lift and catch the bow and lift it off certain passages too. especially this part i’m listening to now where you’re in b flat a little bit during the first moovement. love the trills, very slowly practice them then do them faster.

Can anyone please tell me Which G i hv to play at the beginning of piece third finger on D string or simply open G string....?????
@caoimhebrowne74553 жыл бұрын
Open G string. By putting a 3rd finger on D and vibrating that finger, the open G string vibrates with it!
@vedanshvedansh8443 жыл бұрын
@@caoimhebrowne7455 do you mean double stop? Or first 3rd finger on D string with vibrato then open G string...plzz tell me exactly . I feel lost. ☹😒😭
@vedanshvedansh8443 жыл бұрын
And yes, Thanks for reply, Sir.
@caoimhebrowne74553 жыл бұрын
Not a double stop! 1) you put your 3rd finger down on D string as if you were going to play it but you don’t 2) you pull the bow along the open g string while doing vibrato with your 3rd finger on D string By doing vibrato on the octave above the open G while the G is being played, the G string vibrates along in response. In this way, it sounds as though we are doing vibrato on an open string
@vedanshvedansh8443 жыл бұрын
@@caoimhebrowne7455 I did it. But, open G string vibrates only because of my hand vibrating and the momentum of my arm transmitted to G string. Is it so? Or i am missing something? Good Sir
