As a fellow Esthetician and cosmetic formulator, I will say the list of ingredients is fine and every skin type could probably use it because the ingredients are pretty basic. 🙃 I am not sure how effective the line would be because I don't see many actives and the serum can have vitamin c, but what's the percentage of it because that plays a huge role in its effectiveness. As far as the surfactants in the cleanser, that's how a lot of cleansers are and they use multiple to boost the lather and/or the cleansing ability. This is a line more for someone with normal skin, if you have other skin conditions like hyperpigmentation, acne, etc because of this price point, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

Hello! I’m a formulation chemist as well as a licensed esthetician. From the list of ingredients that you listed off the formula of the products are pretty standard. This is the type of formulation that you will find in most skincare lines that aren’t professional grade. For instance, you discussed the first five ingredients in the cleanser. Generally the first five ingredients in a cleanser will be the cleansing agents. You won’t see the additives that’s mentioned in marketing until the end of the list. This is because things like essential oils, antioxidants, etc. have to be use in very small amounts in order to keep the product safe for the skin and affordable. I think what she and her team was trying to do is give the public a piece of her that they can take home. She known for having beautiful skin and this is their attempt to give her audience that. I have so much more to say about it, but I don’t want to be long winded. I hope this helps! I love you channel by the way!

But when you selling products to the consumer you have to list all the ingredients on the label/container,everything that was used should have been on the label. FROM what gathered the ingredients she was reading was off the bottle.
@Yourfavchemist3 жыл бұрын
@@pooh4025 here there! You’re absolutely correct! When selling anything to the public you have to list every ingredient in the product in descending order. If I’m not mistaken she said in the video that she was only going to read the first five ingredients in the products. So, my comments were based off her commentary in the video.
