Just remodeled my old bathroom. I decided to keep the old, pink cast-iron tub and reglaze it white. It's a beautiful tub and after remodeling my parent's bathrooms several years back, I learned my lesson about tossing out those tubs. Wish I'd known about refinsihing then back then

PLEASE GOD DO NOT BUST THAT TUB OR THAT TOILET UP THEY DO NOT MAKE THOSE ANYMORE AN THEY ARE VERY VERY VALUBLE . TOILET -700$ , TUB -$1,700.

@@BathroomRemodelingTeacher yes if it is in good shape the tank is around $250 an the bowl is around $350 the tub I guessed at I was a little high on the tub but the tub with no dings in good shape is probably$ 1200 . They don't make those anymore an old people with Blue fixtures buy them because there whole bathroom is tiled in blue I wanna say those of 1950's or 1960's homes . If you find a pink bathroom it's the same thing . Only catch is selling them you might have to store them until you find a buyer . Ebay , Facebook market place , post them on all those apps . I am a plumber that's how I know what they are worth.

I have been a plumber for 25yrs I have already had to buy them for old customers that love their blue bathrooms you can not buy blue toilets , lavs , or tubs anywhere anymore so they are hard to find which ages them very expensive . I Dont know what ish whole in the wall you live in but here in Tampa an Miami we have what is called historic districts the houses have all blue tile through out the whole bathroom not just in the shower. You must be an employee for somebody else with no businesses experience anytime you find blue toilets contact me an I will pay for the shipping.

I did a bathroom from the 50s that was just a 3x3 shower stall and a 6x5 floor area....4500lbs of concrete & tile removed from it. The floor was 2 inches of concrete on the main floor and half way up the walls. The the shower pan was 5 inches thick with a lead plate, and every wall was 1.5 inches thick behind the tiles. It was insane. I don't know how the floor didn't sag in that spot.

It is crazy. That’s about what I got out too in a recent project like that. And yeah, no one cared about weight load back then I guess 😆
