Nice. I'll never not like a Workin' with Wolkon video. Great job as always. I'm hoping by the time I have saved up enough to hire your services, your rates don't skyrocket.

I like the way you guys work, cleaning up as you go. Thinking ahead about the dust removal. It was quite satisfying to watch. It cracks me up just how easily things can be dismantled. Thanks for showing us your world.

Im so glad you posted this video. It just goes to show how much work is involved just for the demo stage and that it still requires some thinking and not just tearing everything down. Awesome job! 👍

Thanks so much for this vid! You've completely inspired me and helped me plan my entire bathroom reno... I plan to do all the work myself except for maybe 2-3 things, saving probably $20-30k.

Very informative for a DIYer. A decade ago I helped my neighbor with a demo of their upper bathroom. They installed this makeshift pulley on the window. It made trashing out the debris so much faster. Doesn't make a mess inside the house. Throw the trash in a bucket, down the pulley, and into the wheelbarrow.
@WorkinwithWolkon Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Sounds cool but not sure how this would save any time/effort really We just carry a garbage bin to the yard bin on the drive, with the pulley system you’d still need to go up and down the stairs but also set up the pulley and walk around the side of the house and have a wheelbarrow

Great to see you guys wearing respirators, i’m a tile guy and I fear for 90%+ of people in this industry never wearing theirs

Also have you tried a roofing rake for example a red ripper for removing tile/wire mesh, sometimes it can be really fast and clean, as when the wire mesh comes up, the tile will come up with it, cheers!

I have not tried that but sounds like a dream! Hopefully I come across one

Mirrors get a 14/2 romex from the switch and floor heat we typically do a 120v line of 14/2 steady power

I think you should do a video showing us the products you use. Like Really go into detail. Details like what it is and where can we order it from and if we are doing it ourselves, what tools should we have if we’re doing a bathroom remodeling?

Curious if you indeed notice less dust or actually that window hose is sucking dust out? I am a one man show pro and am contemplating about 12-14' fan with flexible hose for the same purpose. Your system looks like a 4 or 6'' and am skeptical about being able to suck out. 👀
@WorkinwithWolkon Жыл бұрын
It absolutely makes a difference although I’m sure a duct size like you’re describing would be far superior. Recently we put a fan in the window because we were having some moisture issues with the dust extractor since it’s winter here and honestly the fan was better imo. Not anywhere near as noisy and I felt like the dust was removed even faster
