There is a mistake in calculation, for the no of bar in footing. The no of spaces came to be 6.84 nos. The no of bars= 2*(6.84+1) = 15.7~16 Nos. So, 16*23= 368 nos.

how are you taking single overlap. The wall is considered to constructed between pillar. There is no wall that starts at one pillar and does not end at another pillar.

in my opinion, 5-0.65*2 is not correct because 5 is clear distance, not center to center distance.

16:40 when u take the total length as 60 do we need to excavate entire 60m.sir can ask u something ,if the long walls are taken as 20m then the short wall won't be 10 m each.the 1.3 width will cover on each sides from the long wall length,isn't .Someone plz clarify my doubt

Yes, the inside span for the excavation will be reduced, but the excavation will also extend after the 20-metre span equals half of 1.3m from the centre, which will account for it.

1) pcc is use for leveling. 2) you can't use any construction material because when it comes in contact of ground there will be a chance of corrosion of steel.

To construct the footings we need to excavate on eithe side of the pillar center line... which keeps the pillar in center of the footing.. so.. at the gate way which is 5mtr in width.. the footings on it left and right side will extend up to 0.65Mts from its centre.. as the gate way has two footings on both sides.. total deduction will be..5-(2*0.65)=3.7.. I hope ur doubt is clarified

5 m is the clear distance. iI is not center to center distance. Therefore 250 mm + 50 mm + 200 mm = 500 mm should be deducted from both ends. 250 mm is half of 500 mm and 500 mm is the difference between the dimension of footing 800 mm and the dimension of the column along the wall which is 300 mm. 50 mm is the extra width needed for the PCC bed and 200 mm is clearance for the working space. Thus in the calculation of deduction 5000 mm - 2 * 500 mm = 4000 mm (4 m) length should be used.

when the boundaries are closed (think of a circle) no of pillars/nodes = no of segments divided = 60/2.5=24 but when boundaries are open no of pillars = no of segments +1=(60-5)/2.5 +1=23 it is similar to the seating arrangement problem of circular table and row

How? Mine came 153 kg. Here is what I did 1) total ht of ISA=0.55m 2) Total no of pillars= 23 3) Total wt of ISA=12.1 kg/m Therefore, total wt= 0.55x23x12.1 = 153.06kg
