Great video as always! My father was working for BU when these 737-400 and 500 was ordred in 1987 I think. The total no. of 737 was 30+. This -505, ex LN-BRN was one of five -500 nick named the IKEA 737s because they had no fwd galley. Some of the people in CFO dep said that there will be no need for a fwd galley onboard ALL the 737s because some of them will only be flying domestic in Norway. My father was the dir. Of inflight service. He argued that change of aircraft and snags will always happend and a 737 «made» for domestic flights will be set in and fly a trip to Spain. The cost of makeing the 737s all with fwd galley will be a fraction of the cost than to build a fwd galley after 5 yrs. My father protested, but he was overruled. Lol! What happend? All IKEA 737 got a fwd galley to probably 10 times the cost than doing it while the aircraft was made at Renton

Ah yes you are right. it *IS* an ex Braathen. LN-BRN. Sweet. Thanks for the heads-up! I have to check my logs to see if I have flewn it as Braathen. It also operated with Air Baltic as YL-BBA, I have to see if I flew that too. Maybe. I filmed them many years ago on the 737 👍 Gotta love the -505 versions 😀 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
