Mr.DavePowers! I must say you where the number one reason I got into Rc airplanes. I was 10 years old when I discovered your channel (rcsuperpowers)and every Friday I couldn’t wait for the new episode. Now I’m currently working on a long range fpv Asw-28 with 2400mm wingspan (oh very nice) and working on a stol j-3 cub using flaperons both with gyro stability and return to home. But I’ve always had an Rc airplane project going on thanks to your inspirational content. Hope to see you post on the rcsuperpowers channel again the hobby has changed a lot and there is an endless number of projects I know you could come up with. Keep those new shoes clean, and thanks for inspiring thousands to keep the hobby alive

I find when people get older (let's say starting 50+ or whatever ) rather than becoming more balanced as sometimes typology suggests, they revert back to their original unbalanced self more and more and their original weaknesses surface again. This would imply that halfway your life you might be more at the height of being balanced, yet when you get older you just revert back to being more an unbalanced again. I think hafway their life people have sort of found ways to conciously compensate for their weaknesses and when they get old, they sort of forgot about that and start revert back to their "true self" without the added 'upgrades'. I think just like the body that slowly deteriorates when a person ages, the mind does the same thing as well. So when people get old I find they become more caricatures of themselves again rather than the opposite.

I mostly agree with your comment. I’d like to add that it’s more like you’re [read: other people] thinking that you’re not being required to use your demon functions to get farther in life. As you’re either already where you want to be and then you don’t have the pressure to use your demons or you think that you’re not going to make it to your dream destination (or whatever other reason) and then you’re disabling yourself from using your demons. And that’s just easier when you’re already at a comfortable position which is usually where you’re at later in life. If you want them (demon usage & muscle) you need to create situations where they’re needed. And, I think, it works best/or at least better than you having to create these situations somewhat artificially, if the outside world is constantly demanding demon usage of you … (There's also no need for you consciously knowing your demons, if you're in an environment which demands them. You have to use them, not know them. Which might be a part of "the forgetting" that happens after one leaves the environment or the environment doesn't demand demon usage anymore.) The deterioration of the mind is a tricky thing, the brain does so over time, but there are compensations at play and there’s always possibility for new neural pathways which leads to changes in the mind as well. So, I do agree that the baseline gets slowly worse but age itself might only be a factor. ( _I'm not sure on how big of a factor though, I don't know enough of that!_ )

My mom 51 , ovarian cancer , getting chemotherapy, it's TRUE, everything is going backwards, all the upgrades are fading , it's sad to see that , but our brain+bodies were made by God that way , unfortunately :/

While there is for sure some cognitive decline, you think this happens because people are retired or checked out of most aspects of life? No need to actually keep developing or dealing with things they don't want to? Just a thought

Ni is the zen state (Dario Nardi in his book "neuroscience of personality") (EEG, brain scans) _I think when people come close to death, their consciousness & intuition rises. (happened to me many times, even if I always have been super calm, zen, Ni dom) Remember intuition have access to the unconscious (and probably more Ni). I even think that intuition and probably more Ni has the ability to make the unconscious info conscious, bring the traumas (negative scenarios) to the surface, to heal after - that Ni is the function that store negative/existential scenarios. (just my perception) - In the past they even wonder if intuition was the unconscious itself Moral of the story: Raise, use your intuition, before the life force you to use it after an accident. (use 432Hz, 528 Hz frequencies/brain waves to reconnect to our self/essence and knowing what intuition does help) The most amazing is that he saw the spiritual zone/layer surrounded by angels. Synchronicity : "my essence was about 12 inch long and about a quarter of an inch wide" - this is exactly the dimensions of the middle part of the metal ruler in front of me, on my desk.

Not entirely sure I’m understanding what you’re saying properly, but I don’t think Ni is very zen. I’m Ni, and have a lot of single observer anxiety.

@@KayKayBayForever you are an unbalanced Ni user .

@@KayKayBayForeverIt is zen in the sense that it is passive. Ni comes to you, you don't have to actively push anything for you to get to it. You push to express it (with Fe or Te), and you struggle with your lack of physicality (inf. Se), but Ni in itself is not tiring nor stressing, when healthy.

@@Myure Yeah, I've described Ni's energy as very zen like too. It's very different from the more 'nervous' Ne energy, which unlike passive Ni is a very _active_ function because it's extraverted in nature and thus gets activated by engaging with the subject. So a person get's Ne insights/ideas when they _do_ interact with a subjectin like for example actively thinking about it, talking about i or interacting with it in any other matter, whereas Ni users get insights when they _do not actively engage with the subject_ , like for example when they are dreaming at night, or going for a calming walk nature and other of such things. Metaphorically Ni waters need to be still in order for clarity to form, whereas Ne does not get activated still waters. Their waters need movement in order to get activated. I think this difference in energy can even be observed in types themselves, as Ne types often have this clearly more 'nervous' mental energy about them with lots of quick movements, whereas Ni types in this sense have a more calm mental energy. This is (obviously) reversed when it comes to the sensing functions , where Se types are more restless physically and want to keep moving and expending energy and Si types in that sense are the more calm ones physically, just like Ni is more calm mentally.

I’m NF blast and I’ve watched and read way too many NDE (near death experience) interviews and accounts 😅 boiled down Ni take-away: - the one thing pretty much everyone who had a NDE have in common is they stop fearing death, and start respecting life - the meaning of life seems to have to do with the quality of relating to one another. And joy. What OPS calls social type 4 might actually be the top from an existential perspective.

tics are kinda outside of ordinary behaviour and it's fairly natural to have (such) a response especially if you're not used to it which is true for like 80% of global population
