me too, he became my main in the last game when he dropped and i can't wait to see how he plays. Towel tether grab/stage tether ? More sweatspirit functionality ? I know he'll get recovery nerfs but the only other thing i'm sure of is that his charge moves probably won't be as strong because he'll effectively have the strongest crouch cancel in the game getting access to better special moves.

well they did make him canon so there's no denying he's going to return, plus Dan was already talking about introducing Mollo in the game so it's safe to assume the other workshop characters from the first one are also coming

I’m looking forward to him. I do feel like he looks a touch too cartoony though, it contrasts with his new voice and the new art style a little bit *too* harshly for my taste. I think it could be improved quite a bit with a bit more particle, texture, and screenshake work, though, so he looks a bit less like a stuffed animal. Maybe I’ll get used to it and grow to like the dissonance, but my initial impression is that a few of his moves are too cartoony for the new art style.

Yeah I think in general they just made his eyes too big

It's not a problem with the eyes, it's that his model has no definition to it. While other characters have like, sculpted abs and stuff like that, and his artwork has that gritty texture on his face, his model is just flat all over. I really hope they rework the model.
