just a small critique for you... you started using a black backdrop for your builds... you could really use a bit more overhead light if you plan on using black as a backdrop it makes it hard to see details on other black components... they bleed together.

Totally enough for 1080p, small enogh to be hidden as a media center in a living room. Most companys I visit use these mini PC´s as they are enough, but it needs the best special versions to create what you did here. If space isnt that big of an issue there are still the bigger Office tower PC´s around that fit bigger GPU´s as 6GB VRAM is pushing it for anthing above 1080p.

For anything that doesn't need a discrete GPU, sure. I've got the ASUS G20 also, upgraded it from a i7 6700/GTX980/16GB RAM to a 6700K/AMD RX 6700XT/32GB RAM, great little machine that will hopefully keep trucking for many more miles. Didn't want to get rid of it as I have a soft spot for console sized PC's and it's been great, so it got upgraded rather than sold
@robinscotcher4 күн бұрын
@@steviebhoy25 wow that's quite an upgrade. Did you need to change the board?
@steviebhoy254 күн бұрын
@@robinscotcher No, the parts are just a straight swap, plug and play, no board swap needed, the G20 had a few different generations IIRC there was an AMD version and an intel 4th Gen variant then a 6th/7th Gen, so you can just pop inn the most powerful K series i7 from the generation for a performance bump, the RAM is just laptop DDR4 2133Mhz in my model, that and just make sure your graphics card of choice will fit.

This is a cool idea but not a great value for the price. Instead, you could build an ITX SFF gaming pc with a robust upgrade path for less than the cost of this used OEM mini pc and low-profile gpu. This would be better once this mini pc drops in price on the used market.
