Just re-installed W11P because i had some issues on N100 system with scaling, but was running a very minimal OS. If you go with Arch + KDE you can do this easily. The system was way faster and even with indie games via Heroic BUT i had audio driver issues (these SBC's have odd audio chipsets, random per manufacturer) and what agitated me the most was the vsync which seems to only work 50% of the time. I hate screen tearing. Newer chipsets are also a bit dependent on Kernel support too new is asking for lack of support (N100 is now very functional but that also took a while) so with the new N150 + rest of chipset it is a gamble.

I've searched your videos and cannot find one where you've tested the N95 CPU. I have read that the N95 and N97 are nearly identical in performance, while some other reviews say the N97 is quite noticeably faster than the N95. Could you maybe request a mini-cube with an N95 w/ddr4 for testing. I know all of these Alder Lake-N's _CAN_ use ddr5, but most minis aren't configured that way. DDR4 is the most common, I've found. The N95 has a much faster GPU but has less GPU cores (of course, it's intel after all), and the N95 has a higher wattage than the N100 but only slightly lower than the N97. I have the strangest feeling that the N95 just might give the N150 a serious challenge. Thank you.

i love these little mini pc's. I still have an n100 beelink with a 2 ssd's (512gb nvme, 4tb SATA) set up as my home plex server. More than powerful enough to serve out a 4k stream on my home network, and i've seen it handle 3 1080p streams without a sweat. All for sipping a few watts compared to using my gaming rig as my plex server (what i used to do).

For Beelink my only concern is DDR4, its just strange in 2025. But for Intel I'm waiting for some upgrade - at least new iGPU and two channel memory controller for at least DDR5 5600 modules. Without it this Intel N lineup is only suitable for RPI style sbc's IMHO. And while im waiting for these upgrades from Intel it would be nice to see more mini pcs with socketable cpus - even something low end like Intel G7400/12100 or even AMD 8500G/4142p in this formfacor can be awesome! For now there is only very expensive 1L corporate pcs and not so expensive Asrock DeskMini line, but I think if someone like Beelink can create more cheap options even with some limited cpu/TDP support - for example to hardware limit tdp on 45w level from the board side.

Also there are deals for Old Ryzen 5000/6000 series mini PC's that comes close to the 199$ target which I'm sure are more powerful than this...
