So I bought a $31 Android 10 Tv box from wish.com and in this video we are going to see how it performs, if we really got exactly what was listed and if it's even worth buying one.
The site stated this is an Android TV running Android 10 with 4Gb of ram and 64Gb of storage powered by an Allwinner Quad Core H616 CPU. Can it run 4k or even 6k video? Can you play Android games on it? Can you run Emulators on it? Let's Find Out.

If you know what you're looking for, have enough pictures, and find an honest seller, you can indeed get decent items, just as with AliExpress or eBay (some categories have more legitimate listings than others, of course). It's just that that particular combination of things is much more difficult to achieve than people want it to be, and it's often easier to trade a bit more money for the time, expertise, and risk involved in shopping Wish properly.

I have never bought anything from there. Even simple gadgets have been somewhat trash what my friends have bought ranging from rim center caps to rubik's cube. Aliexpress is the way to go

My dad buys a lot of things from Wish everytime, although rarely anything that's electronic and for the most part, he does get a lot of cheap, but useful things like watches, cords, bolts, and small parts for other stuff. I personally would never get anything from there, considering the fishy circumstances, but if you really bother digging for the right stuff, you may get well hidden and obscure treasures not found anywhere else. All it takes is research and a good look.

The remote is absolutely terrible it's the same remote that came with the one in this video and it's the worst remote I've ever used on any device which is really saying something lol. The WiFi is terrible and takes 10 minutes to connect after booting the device up and randomly disconnects sometimes. Gaming isn't too bad but doesn't make up for a bad device overall

From what I've seen and heard, there is basically nothing worth getting on Wish that you won't find a better deal or better product in sites like Aliexpress... not sure if true but I never had anything to complain with the stuff I bought on Aliexpress so far. Wish I heard about false advertising, clothing made of crap materials or in sizes that do not match what was advertised, eggregiously fake stuff (like those fake graphics cards LTT put out recently), and products lacking all sorts of stuff that was supposed to be included with the purchase. Not sure why people buy stuff from there.

This review is misleading, it all depends on what you want from the box. I have purchased this device for the sole purpose to play Geforce Now and it works flawlessly. Picture quality is excellent with no latency issue's. Definitely worth the £36.99 I paid on Amazon.

@@coz7386 I mean places like your local flea market or auction store, but you can try Craigslist, Letgo, and Offerup and see if you get lucky enough. Some might sell it for around $40-70 depending on the person and what model of the PS3. Usually the Super Slim variant are around $25 or $30-35

Nvidia shield tv is the best! It supports big android versions for years (shield tv released with android 5 and now it got android 9, will have android 10 as well) second option is mibox s. It is ok to wach something.

If you want a powerful system that can play high end mobile games, then go for Nvidia Shield. If you just want a system that will allow you to watch Netflix, Hulu, and basic gaming, Mibox is the route to go. There are some others but stick with certified Android TV boxes not cheap android mobile boxes that try to act like android TV.

Can you try adding another OS and/or firmware? I recently added a different firmware from the stock version to a TV Box that didn't let you do pretty much anything and now the thing runs pretty well except for the wifi.

Viewport frame.. is not exactly the video resolution what do you see, its different,. It's more like size of text, app, and other items but not video resolutions. You can change it anyway by holding control + mouse scrow, at least on windows

hey Prime i'm surprised you haven't tried an android radio system. i bought one and just installed launchbox on it. i got an idoing android system from aliexpress and it has a px5 and 4 gb of ram and 32 GB of rom. with wifi and android 8 but they now have the new radios coming out with the new PX6 chips and it looks promising and with android 9, kinda wish i would have waited but i like my system.

I don't buy from Wish or Gearbest. Never bought anything from Wish and never will. I've heard too many horror stories about Wish. I have had Gearbest keep my money for over two months by selling products they don't have. Always with promises of "shipping soon". This has happened three times in the last two years with Gearbest. It was over $100USD every time. I had to get PayPal involved to get refunds from them. Gearbest always expects you to "choose another product". It's very discouraging to wait two months for something and look at "In Stock" on the item listing every other day. Never again for me and from my experiences, I would not steer anyone to their rip-off site.

In my personal opinion, Wish is worse than AliExpress when it comes to quality. The app launcher of that box is clearly modeled after Windows 8 start screen. Video playback performance is very strange. The chip should be able to handle pretty much any modern codec in hardware, so I don't think CPU is at fault here. Whoever built Android OS for this thing didn't bother to do it properly. 3:38: Android TV can run regular Android apps, if you can sideload them. Paid apps work too.

A lot of these cheap overseas tv boxes are actually running a (usually-unlicensed) Android tablet version of the OS - so you'd not have access to certain features from Netflix, like you pointed out. That's the big reason to get Android TV over the tablet version. But man is box not great.

You might try doing a video on how ubuntu users can integrate Android to use on a decent spec'd system. I tried it on my Asus Transformer mini tab and it's not unusable for the Android part. But is a little laggy. Google up Anbox.

I recently bought a Transpeed Amlogic S905x3 (labeled as an X3 Plus). So far, it isn't so bad for what I need it for. I tested PPSSPP on it and it seems to handle it around x2 PSP. What I really hate about it is the launcher. I downloaded ADW and Nova launcher and I can use either, but I lose the ability to get into my settings. The settings app doesn't show up in either the app drawer, the notifications bar, or the main page. Any ideas?

You're not running on Android TV either. Also you word it that because the box isnt certified that it's running the phone version of Netflix which is why it won't display in HD. That's not correct. Even the phone version will not display HD if the device is not the correct Widevine drm level. Widevine Level must be 1 and these cheap boxes as you know won't have it. Yet I've had phones (OnePlus) that while certified didn't was Widevine Level 3 on stock factory rom so no HD Netflix.
