One more amazing make. I love the use of the washi tape. I am so excited to receive my order. Thank you for the inspiration. I didn't realize with the larger cutout tiles you get 3 of each. Etcetera is so affordable and a great value for the money. A shout to Tim Holtz and to you as well for inspiration. I admire your ability. Thank you.

First can I say how excited I am that you turned on your comments! I’ve been following you for about a year now and always want to comment on how fabulous you are. Your one of my absolute favorites, your so super talented. I’ve always liked Tim’s products but the first time I saw you make a vignette you made we want to buy every product past and present, lol! I not only look forward to Tim’s release videos but yours as well. I know you’ll always have a fabulous project. I’m always blown away and love watching your creative process. You’ve taught me to think out of the box. And that a product can be used in more ways then it’s intended purpose. Halloween is my favorite holiday for decorating and crafting. Love the upside down house for the banner. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos, and always inspiring.

Your work is fantastic! Hope I can get halfway as creative as you are. I was watching your video "The Count and Pumpkinhead Treats." Comments were turned off. I went to your blog but could not find them - I went to Amazon and could not find the beakers - can you please help me out - I just love, love, love what you did. I have the die cuts and what to 'try' to copy you - lol- for my great-grandkids.

Hi Denise, I’ve forgotten which beakers I got back then. Just search for food grade plastic (or glass) beakers or flasks. You want to be sure they are food grade. They should be available from different places because people often use them for Halloween foods and drinks. Have fun!

Hi Tami, this is such a great make! I’m so excited for the Halloween season coming up. As I watched this for the second time, it occurred to me that maybe we can use our Tim Holtz little sanding disks. Do you think they’d work? Thanks, Joan

You definitely could. Tim used them in his demo. I forgot I’d bought some and just stumbled across them this weekend in a drawer. LOL I’ll try them on a future project, but in the meantime please let me know.

I absolutely love the project. I just wish you would show each step. At least a portion of each process so we can learn too. I think that would be a lot more helpful than just seeing the finished steps. You are very talented and I adore this project, but as a beginner, I would appreciate more in depth if possible.

Thanks for your comment Billie. Sorry you didn’t find this tutorial helpful. Hopefully with the tips from Tim regarding a lot of the Etcetera basics in his release video today, together with this video, we covered most of it for beginners. Some tutorials I go into great detail about my makes and others, like this one, esp where there is a quick turn around you may find a more general tutorial where I explain what I did rather than videoing each step.

Wow. I think you misunderstood my comment. No need to take it personally. It was not a diss. I loved the project. Perhaps you are correct. I will check out other creators and learn from them. I don't understand how simply giving a suggestion/comment is taken as a insult because that is not what I intended.

Hi Billie, Sorry my reply seemed to imply I took your comment as an insult or diss. I didn’t. I appreciate the constructive criticism, that’s why I thanked you for it and apologized that this tutorial wasn’t helpful, with an explanation that some of my tutorials are more detailed than others. Hope that clears up any misunderstanding. Regardless,I do encourage you to check out all the maker’s blogs and KZbin channels! So many creative and talented folks with amazing skills. You will learn so much and hopefully have fun along the way.

@@Playswellwithpaper I think even on the videos where you don’t show us step by step you to a great job at explaining each step. You can’t please everyone all the time unfortunately.😉 Also, not everyone understands that it’s easy to sit down and turn your camera one and do a live. It’s a whole other thing when you have to edit the video. Your projects are always so elaborate and so detailed You’d have to put out 3-4-5-6 videos to cover what you do. That’s a whole lot of editing. And I’ve followed Tim for years so correct me if I’m wrong but you’re the only one from Tim’s team that puts out a video. Everyone one else puts a written tutorial on their blogs. I’m not saying that disrespectfully towards the rest of the team. Those tutorials always give a great explanation and lots of photos. I’m simply stating that we’re very lucky to have your videos to get ideas and learn from especially if your a beginner!
