Etchr Perfect Sketchbook Review + Demos: Is this the Best Sketchbook?

In this video, I'll be testing out the ‪@EtchrLab‬ Etchr Labs - Perfect Sketchbook! I will demonstrate how it performs by painting three different landscape paintings. I was impressed by the quality and sizing of the paper, and the overall construction of the sketchbook.
This sketchbook is made of 300gsm 100% cotton paper and is bound with Vegan-friendly leather. Compared to the 200-220gsm Etchr Sketchbook, I find this one to be more durable in terms of handling multiple layers, and I also like the extra weight and texture of the paper better (slightly more grain) which is great at getting in smooth washes/wet-in-wet effects. I'd buy the 300gsm one if I had to choose, though the 200-220gsm is still great value. It's important to have a quality sketchbook - I paint primarily on 300gsm paper, and the techniques I practice are easily translated across.

I bought this sketchbook after hearing you and 2 other people using it and I purchased it. It is well worth the money! I have the white cover so I do need to paint it as it is getting soiled from taking it outdoors and painting in it. Love your live sessions and am learning so much quickly from painting along with you. Thank you for all the work you put into making the tutorials and videos.

Hey Vy, is it the one with the cotton canvas cover or the hard cover, but just in white? I like the hard cover one a lot more actually, the paper buckles less as it's 300gsm. Thanks so much for coming along to these live sessions, you're a great conversation starter and I like the questions you ask as well, gets me thinking haha.

It is amazing, it never buckles on me and no bleed through so using each side of every page is a yes. I felt guilty for distracting you the session before this one.
