People's buying habits have changed, just ask macdonalds. So nvidia might not be able to increase prices.

I bought a 6750XT last year. I don't foresee anything in my price range being a worthwhile upgrade next year.

All these powerful GPUs and nobody is tackling the fact that the PCIE Edge Connector isn't supposed to be load bearing with these massive coolers. All this Electronics Engineering with no thought to Mechanical Engineering.

I really hope the low-end and midrange 50 Series aren't a shitshow like the low-end and midrange 40 Series were except for the high-end and enthusiast class GPUs. Hopefully, competition can bring us consumers a wide variety of choices with considerable performance uplifts at aggressive prices, at least in the low-end and midrange segments, which is where RDNA 4 and Battlemage are said to be very competitive.

The process node will be a massive factor in determining the performance, price, and power efficiency of the RTX 50 Series. There is only so much performance that can be extracted from architectural gains. TSMC 3nm die sizes are said to be around 45% smaller than TSMC 5nm, which would allow for substantial enhancements for Blackwell's silicon. This is not even referring to a custom TSMC 3N node, which will further boost the performance, power efficiency, and transistor density. TSMC 3nm, especially a custom 3N node, would be a big upgrade over 4N and 4NP. Hopefully, they will use a custom TSMC 3N node for the RTX 50 Series. It's still a possibility since nothing has been confirmed yet. It seems fairly unlikely, unfortunately.

I keep saying this, i do not care for ray trace or all these upscaling tech ect. It also makes the game developers lazy, with optimizing there games! i care about raw performance at native and vram! And if AMD do a banger and value monster with a 8800xt it will be my go to as the next gpu upgrade.

I'm struggling in vr with a 3080. I want a 4080s, but they are still £900-£1000...Too much for me to justify. I'm hoping that the 5000 series release will see the 4080 drop to around the £700 mark...But I'm not holding my breath

It seems odd to me that all of the new chipset, motherboard and processors are Pcie5, including the 1-2 x16 slots, but nothing at all about gpu cards moving up to Pcie5
@Arx07Күн бұрын
All the GPU-s support pci-e gen5 as the socket is the same. New motherboards have currently gen5 for just in case, as RTX 5090 won't need it, gen 4 will not bottleneck it(most likely).

Keep in mind @2000 USD profit is roughly 1200 USD, just PROFIT, which means there's no possible way to JUSTIFY THIS HIGH COST OTHER THEN GREED. In short Nvidia could sell the 5090 for 1000 USD and STILL MAKE PROFIT, just not over 56% profit. High GPU Pricing is shear GREED nothing more so for you to suggest anything other then GREED just goes to show how much of a shill you are. Must be nice to be able to get a 2k GPU for FREE, your sole was sold long ago....

😂😂😂😂😂😂 $1500 for a 5080??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Nvidia thinks they are slick... Raise price on the high end which indirectly raise prices on the entry/low end stuff.. Pretty soon you will be paying 1080ti prices on what use to cost $199 like a xx60 chip... GTFO 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

In the past this stuff got faster for the same money or less, Nvidia don't care though, Bitcoin nonsense and then AI made them rich so they charge whatever they like

Consoles have a lot less overheads and are coded to the metal for one hardware config. So comparing GPUs between consoles and PCs is stupid.
@takehirolol5962Күн бұрын
@@BenState Not my point. Since gaming consoles have 86x architecture and since PC gaming is an investment, the key detail for a GPU is to buy the one that is the same or more powerful than the Pro console. That's what I do and that's why I will upgrade next year, but I will not buy a RTX 5060 Ti.
@BenStateКүн бұрын
@@takehirolol5962 What weird logic is that? The performance any given GPU when comparing console vs PC irrespective of instruction sets is different. Thus your comparison is invalid.
