I have many favourite themes in my Pokémon OST list, but I swear that Eterna City is the one that makes me tear up almost every time. It's just so representative of my experiences in Sinnoh, and I think that it is a theme not only for Eterna City, but that represents the region's aura as a whole. It's so special to me. And holy shit, I seriously can't describe how well you rendered it Love all your Eterna City remasters

Town Slogan: "History Living" Japanese version: "The town that ties the past to now." I just love the vibes this theme gives. Its got a slower beat that represents the city's past but it builds up more and more to represent the present of a busy city.

When I was younger and I playing Platinum my first time, I got stuck on Gardenia for what felt like a month. I got sick of hearing this city's theme in process. But now it feels so calming and nostalgic, and I can appreciate it the way it was always meant to be, and this remaster makes the experience even better

When I played _Legends: Arceus,_ I found a strange yet deep hatred of Jubilife Village’s theme song. Something just felt … insufficient about it. I wasn’t sure why, until I later played Platinum _(FOR THE FIRST TIME, btw; I grew up with Unova, not Sinnoh)_ … and I walked into Eterna. And then … I understood. Unova music will forever be special to me. But I will also always think Gen IV has two things that will never be topped: 1. The best Wild Pokémon Battle Theme in the entire goddamn franchise 2. This city. My god … the melody is just _perfect._ it’s such a beautiful mix of emotions. So, _so_ good.

I don't know how to explain it, but this song has always been a tad bit goofy to me. Diamond was my first game, and even at that time I remember the song bringing a smile to my face. It's been one of those sort of "silly" jams to me ever since, because it's so happy-go-lucky and aloof. Eterna City is one of the few DP songs that I don't tear up when hearing, not because I'm not nostalgic for it or anything, but because it still brings me that same smile. I was expecting this cover to be the same, but as soon as the first guitar played I was given a different vibe. I immediately began to tear up, and only now do I realize what this song is to me: home. This song is home, and there's no place quite like home. If I'm honest, things have been pretty rough lately, but this remaster brought me a lot of solace. This is absolutely one of my favorite remasters of yours. Thank you for giving me a new perspective on this song, or rather for helping me realize what this song has been to me all this time. :) PS: The harmonica at 0:46 having a slurred ascending note is an absolutely SUBLIME addition, I am obsessed - and the sax part with the guitar joining it afterwards is equally as great. The electric guitar being added at the part with the Galar motif is really clever!
