エタチャンCDのエンディング集です。
このゲームの登場キャラたちは様々な時代から集められているのですが(ワーヒーか)、全員死の直前に拉致されて来ます(オープニング参照)。
そのためエンディングでは自キャラが助かるムービーが流れた後、他のキャラが死ぬムービーが延々再生されるようになってます。
また、難易度が最高の時のみ、エンディング冒頭に2人(?)のボスキャラの会話シーン、最後にラスボスがまだ何か企んでそうな雰囲気のムービーが流れます。
動画には全ムービーを収録しました。
最後にこのゲーム、続編がサターンで出る予定だったそうで、未だに欧米では人気があるようです。

The endings are bittersweet when the game reminds you that the other combatants are sent back to their deaths. Hell, it LITERALLY shows all the deaths to you after your ending -- JUST to rub it in.

This Eternal Champions game was such an instant classic that even the FMV cutscenes and fatality footages are so gory and well done.

You can really tell their priorities were to double down on trying to be edgy by the fact they put way more effort in to the deaths than they did the good endings. Not to mention the extreme overkill of the Deep Water studio intro whenever you boot up the game.

So they spoiled the bad endings in the intro? And the good ones are static. That's messed up. They could do it *so much better* nowadays.

seems to be missing four more endings, the endings for Thomas "Blast" Chavez, Chin Wo, The Senator, and Thanatos

They really did the bare minimum for the good endings, hilarious. Amazing game regardless, I watched the intro of this game every time I played it.

it is like they worked so hard on the bad endings they put little work into the good endings the pics are boring

Probably could only fit so much data into the disc at the time, so if anything was going to be interesting and worth while it had to be bad endings, good call from the developers if my assumption is true.
