Guts Berserker True you’re right, it did come before, but tile-based games were long before xcom. Few were in the sega genesis and others on the orig playstation and SNES. Original Xcom was still a classic, but not as polished compared to other tactics game at the time, like CIV for example. Still a cult classic though.

Gosh I played this like before I turned 10 and I remember how hard it was to even get to this point. So many times I quit the game for a week only to come back with a new motivation to finish. Tbh I never even got my magic up to those God-Level theatrics and somehow managed to beat this last boss. Wish there was a way to play this gem again. Beautiful soundtrack too ❤️‍🔥
