Well, I sure do hope she always "interprets" this song in this tender and honoring way, because she co-wrote it. This song was released by her band, Bangles, and the song was co-written by Billy Steinberg and Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. Billy came up with the title after talking with Susanna Hoffs about the band's visit to Graceland - Elvis Presley's estate in Memphis, Tennessee. This was quite a hit for the Bangles, in 1989.

Susanna with her "Rick", the Bangles, and that rock sound are awsome. But Susanna solo, with an acoustic arrangement is where she shines. Her voice has always had such a sweet tone, and it sounds so warm with just an acoustic guitar, or here with a chamber orchestra (no autotune, by the way). The piano and strings were classy, and the backup singers looked honored to accompany her in this timeless classic. Love you, Susanna. My Eternal Crush since the 80s.
