So I got into playing ER because it was under my recommended games on steam. I eventually got hooked and now I party up with my friends who also have an addiction to the game. After a while I wanted to see if anyone made content centering around ER and found this channel! Honestly, something I am very jealous of, is how well informed Adritoma is about this game. Honestly find the lootbox system to be really great! It gives F2P more skins than they otherwise would have had without it, and it gives nimble more revenue. I think lootboxes often get a bad rep, but it's inclusion has only benefitted Eternal Return. Also happy birthday :)

Nice breakdown; I don't have many skins so the loot boxes are a nice way to get some here and there without spending a lot of money; I agree that the battle pass is a great value though.

(A suggestion if you were to do this kind of breakdown again either in another game or this game) I think it would be helpful to mention the dollar cost before the content before the in-game currency cost of the content (mainly during the section about the loot boxes at 8:25). The dollar amount is what I care most about since NP is an intermediary between the actual dollar amount and the content being purchased.

The season packs imo are actually very good deals even for the 60ish dollars they cost- originally i just bought it bc i really wanted the Emma skin and wanted to play her more so in that aspect having one epic skin locked behind that paywall yes is a little bad but then i came to realize how youd literally get every skin that releases within that season AND the bp. Essentially the season packs are just easy ways for collectors to get skins that release in that season quite easily. Ofc do have precaution and look at skin roadmaps to decide whether or not the skins releasing are worth it for you! Anyways as for entering the giveaway, i want to get Zahir pregnant 🤗

There are times when you can be smart about the order you get Event NP. For example, sometimes when you redeem them from an event they go to your inbox where you accept them. Usually that lasts for a week or so. Event codes have expiration dates etc. So, with some patience and planning, you can hold onto sources of event NP for quite some time~ The highest I have gotten in one go was 1600 event NP at once. A free BP and then some right there :) Imo, its always better to wait a bit to see what you can do with timing NP.

Happy b day Toma, as someone who came from league, i agree that the monetization in ER is perfect the way it is, i already got a lot of characters and skins in less than two months playing only the bare minimum and didin't spend a single bucket yet, so yeah pretty good, plus the game is fun.

This is the first time I stumbled upon your content. And yes, I agree about the battlepass being worth it. There's a tons of stuff to obtain with only like $10. At first I was hesitant since I was a new player last month and I might quit sooner or later but eventually after playing for 1 week I decided to atleast get the battlepass and I did not regret buying it (especially that Haze summer skin). Here's to hoping this game gets the recognition it deserves, it feels like a crime Eternal Return not being popular enough imo.

The monetization being what it is coupled with how GENEROUS their event structure is baffles me. They could honestly afford to be a little more spicy with it i've always thought. I doubt I play quite as much as you and during beta I was pretty off and on, and I STILL own literally everything in the game with 500k extra juice thanks to just the events and giveaways they do.

It'd be nice if they implement an exclusive battle pass addon you can pay for to add certain Cadet skins in the rewards (Maybe as an additional Level 100 skin reward). It'd also encourage more people to get the battle pass
