This is a emotional song from an very touching album, probably the best they ever made imo. As you said this song would also work great with clean vocals only. Luckily they made an acoustic version which includes only clean vocals. You should check that out.

Fun fact: Antti Kokko (Kalmah) was a member of this band, this album was the last album that he played guitar on as a part of Eternal Tears of Sorrow!

This was actually the only ETOS album he played on. He also co-wrote and played the magnificent solos on this one. Absolutely amazing guitarist. Coming to think of it all his solos on this album are fantastic.

Pasi Hitula, Kalmah's best keyboardist, was also on their A Virgin and A Whore album and the red one. Literally early ETOS was just Kalmah. XD

ROLF :D:D !! Well... here in Finland we don't have rangers... They would get grazy to find borders of park.... this country is a one park.... Police, fire department, frontier guards, military and voluntary rescuers take care here of lost people. Amazing! I come back to this song from time to time. Put it on youtube search and just 4h ago you had posted this! Great to see that you've found this or rather someone understood to suggest this song for you. The acoustic/full clean vocals version of this song is incredibly good. This song describes perfectly in all aspects the feeling I have during fall time and why I love it (the fall I mean). Melacholic, but yet incredibly beautiful and thus somehow the melancholic part is not negative at all. It's like despite it's dark and cold and some say depressing, I find comfort from all the beauty around and that everything in life is great in general. Hard to explain, it's yin and yang, melancholy and peace of mind in perfect balance together and that's what I think this song really represents.
