Exactly, perfect analysis. The issue with the Eternals is that even without their unique skillsets they all exhibit a high level of strength and durability, even the non combat oriented Eternals are casually walking off being slammed through buildings, slammed into boulders, hit with Ikaris's eye beams. So even Makkari a speedster, Druig a telepath, Sprite an illusionist, Ajak a healer, Phastos a technopath and Sersi their mage, all support type characters are also superhumanly strong and durable. So no real weak points.

the only way for the avengers is if they already know about their opponents. Strange could take the avengers to another dimesion, perhaps the mirror dimension, and the Eternals can't do anything. There, assuming strange can, he would give everyone protection spells like supreme strange did in what if episode 9. That spell seemed really powerful, tanking all 6 infinity stones, so no one would need any tech suits as their durability would be crazy, and it isn't too bold to assume that also protects from mind attacks, as Ultron didn't use the mind stone at any moment when he could just win using it.

While I agree that the Avengers have little chance of winning against the Eternals, I think it needs to be pointed out that Sprite and Druid are basically rendered useless by the presence of Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange, both of whom can easily cancel out illusions and mind control. It's the speedster Makkari that they Avengers should be worried about because she can easily take out their sorcerers.

Technically, the Avengers would be fighting a group of entities who are of the same race of creatures as Thanos, who as a singular entity required all of their combined efforts to beat. This already puts them at a great disadvantage. Gilgamesh, Thena, and Ikarus may have corresponding foils in Hulk, Marvel, and Thor, but there is no correspondence to Makkari who as a speedster owns everyone but these 3 heavy hitters. Druig and Sersi has some correspondence with Wanda between mind control and matter transmuter, but post Wanda Vision she is going to be far more powerful than either of them. Sprite with all her mental baggage is no match for a driven, focused and imaginatively creative Dr. Strange. The key players among the Avengers in this fight really would be their causality warper Dr. Strange and now fully amped reality warper Wanda. DS can negate every consequential result of their failure by resetting the fight until they arrive at the variant in which they are the winners. But it shouldn't even have to come to that if the nature of Wanda's reality warping is infinitely powerful since she herself should be able to negate every advantage the Eternals would otherwise have. It's why I will say that it comes down to a knowledge of the threat of the Eternals that informs either or both Strange and/or Wanda. Cuz otherwise, Makkari gets them first, and the Hulk is out because of Druig's mind control, and Thor and Marvel will just be overwhelmed.

you cant just ignore the power of the scarlet witch, and doctor strange's powerful spells and defensive spells. Scarlet witch spells is a direct power from the God chaton(dont know if its the right spelling but who cares) we see wanda not having a scarlet witch yet can end up killing thanos all by herself and by the help of the powerboost of the scarlet witch I think she can just tear apart limp from limp, and if thats not enough doctor strange can just trap all them in the mirror dimension and the other can just throw bombs at the eternals hit them with lightning and shit, it would be a hell of a teamfight, but not only that the avengers has more better team tactics than the eternals, where as the eternals others can cooperate just like that, and plus doctor strange can just inspire some other kinds of tech to tony or tony can detect phastos technology and can create a God killer suit which in the comics is specifically designed to kill a celestial, so I think the avengers has a huge power boost when the scarlet which is around them hence I dont even think makari can do shit about that cause scarlet witch can just telephaticly kill her just like we are about to see when wanda was about to tear of thanos apart

It would also be extremely difficult to take Druig out. He goes in melee with a deviant showing some level of combat skill, and he takes both the lasers and physical strikes from ikarus as well as a massive fall relatively unscathed. His durability is off the charts for a character whose main skill is telepathy. You'd need a big gun just to take him out, and he could quickly be hidden behind traps and illusions. Phastos can restrain ikarus, both of whom along with gilgamesh, thena, and makkari are so powerful they give the power housrs a run for their money. Ajack can heal any hurt allies, and since she is able to tank attacks from bloodlusted thena and heal herself, as well as partially heal thena's madness, it's safe to say she can also prevent her own teammates from being mind haxed. Sprite also engages in physical combat, none of the eternals are going to be easy to take down, and with so much experience and skill as a team the avengers stand no chance

Druig was knocked out almost throughout the whole third act just because of the lasers from ikaris. I don’t see why captain marvel wouldn’t be able to knock him out with her blasts. Ant man and wasp can easily sneak behind enemy lines and attack the supports (sprite, ajak, sersi). Finally wanda easily just manipulates reality, turning them into sitcom characters unable to use their powers and attack.

The main problem I have is that Ikaris is said to be by far the strongest Eternal in combat, and he didn’t seem like he could take Doctor Strange, Wanda, or even Awakened Thor in a 1v1 which makes me think that the rest of the Eternals might just have cool powers on paper, but not actually be good at using them effectively in combat. In terms of Makkari, I think it’s a bit ridiculous to say that she would instantly take out all the Avengers, while not also saying the same about Captain Marvel taking out all the Eternals quickly. While it does seem like speed would be super useful, it never seems to be a big factor in the MCU in combat, so I think saying that Wanda and doctor strange would instantly die is pretty disingenuous unless you are also saying the same about the majority of the Eternals dying instantly to Captain Marvel.

If it's a suprise attack the eternals win no contest, but if they know what's up beforehand, strange can freeze time, which is something I cant see anyone preventing on the eternals team, the mirror dimension is something stated to be almost impossible to get out of without a sling ring, and remember who said that? An expert magician. Wanda is incredibly op as well, but time stop is such an unbelievably op ability that nothing comes close. But if strange gets blindsided or taken out, I think eternals win without much effort

I disagree with your analysis. After watching the movie, aside from some hax ability members like Makkari, Druig, and Phastos, most of the Eternals were a bit underwhelming, especially the fighters like Ikaris, Thena, and Gilgamesh. Even the so-called strongest member, Ikaris, never even showed the kind of powers that can be comparable to any version of Thor. When fighting, he mainly used his eye beam and it took him a long while to beat a single deviant. So maybe the deviants are just that strong, but if that's the case, their fight should have done much more damages to the environment. Based on what I have seen, Ikarus, never showed muscle strength greater than Spiderman, eye beam no more powerful than Cyclops, with unknown speed and high, but unknown durability. Also, so far, Druig only showed the capability to mind-controlled regular humans. He did not try to mind control a deviant or his fellow Eternals in the fights, so it's a stretch to say that he can mind-control most of the Avengers, including the super-powered ones.

Anyone with baseline human durability immediately dies to Makkari. Including strange and Wanda. In Age of Ultron, nobody could react to Quicksilver, and Makkari is faster. Druig literally mind controls everyone but maybe Thor,Hulk, and Vision. So then it’s literally all the eternals vs them 3. Sersi can manipulate a celestials matter, so she can literally just erase vision if he isn’t intangible. Thor couldn’t take a “taser” (wasn’t just a taser) so I’m pretty sure Phastos can create something on the spot that neutralizes Thor. The rest of the eternals are just too much for the hulk.

@@kdsniperr6270 Lets be realistic, it's not like the Eternals will come into the battle with a battle plan and have Makkari neutralize all the non-superhuman durability characters first. She'll likely randomly target members and when she gets to one with superhuman durability and strength, she'll get taken out, like what happened against Ikaris. Also, lets not act like this is a turn based video game where the Eternals get to attack first, everything is fluid, so with the exception of Makkari, no one else is attacking first and most Eternals definitely won't get to choose when they get to fight. As for Thor getting tasered, that was in Thor 3, he later got stronger and even tanked the sun's energy blast, so don't be so sure it will work on him again, and even if it does, it's part of an advance alien technology, has Phastos ever showed the capability of making these kinds of weaponry? He's isn't some kind of know it all tech wiz, there is a limit, otherwise, he would have access to the Kang level time manipulation technology and more. As for the Hulk, at least he has shown the kind of destructive capability that far surpasses anything that the Eternals have done.

Avengers would honestly probably take this, I doubt they would just sit there and let themselves all be taken out. Dr Strange or Wanda could easily put something in place to cancel out the mind control. The tech stuff gets rid of characters that wouldn't have done much anyways. Spidermans armor from stark isn't what makes him Spiderman lol. Ironman would probably move to a strategic role if he couldn't use tech. Falcon, antman, winter soilder and warmachine probably weren't gonna be much help even with tech. And illusions are cool but when you have characters that can undo them it doesn't matter. Not to mention Strange can actually duplicate things not just make it look like there is duplicates. Thor Hulk Carol Wanda Strange, without some bs "oh they get mind controlled gg they lose" would probably be enough to take out the MCU enternals. Add in no suit Ironman, black panther, Spiderman, Hawkeye, valkerie, groot, drax, cap, etc. just to keep them on their toes its really not close. Speedster is the hardest one to counter and would have to go to Carol. The rest have easy counters or just aren't as great once you close the gap.

Strange and Wanda are very powerful and can seriously take on the Eternals, however, they are still human and considered to be glass canon. Don't forget that the Eternals know about the Avengers and possibly what they can do. So they'd be more prepared to take them on. As he said, Makkari can simply go in and knock out Strange and Wanda before they can react. I mean, we see several times how Strange and Wanda can be knocked out or chocked out. Plus, everyone of the Eternals has durable body. The only reason Kro managed to kill Ajax and Gilgamesh is because he evolved a special tentacle to absorbed their cosmic energy. So maybe if Iron can make a tech like that, they can stand a chance but, as he said, Phastos is a technopath and has more options to choose from. Druig and Sprite can make sure the Avengers are essential fighting each other too.

I agree with the video but I will say this: -From what I remember of the Eternals, Phastos needs to first come up with an idea, then design it and lastly creates it like the Unimind, that means in an unexpected battle he can be less effective cause he doesn't know what he is dealing with and has to think it during the battle. I guess in this case the Eternals know the Avengers well so it isn't a problem but in other cases I guess Phastos needs to stay behind while creating things and if someone stops him theres no much he can do. -Sprite, were her ilusions solid at some point? Because if not despite being able to create an infinite amount, Mysterio's drones are kinda better cause they deal damage. At least from a 1vs1 perspective, with the team Sprite's ilusions work better

Yes, Thor killed Thanos with Stormbreaker, and injured him with it, but he was already very physically damaged in the former, and caught by surprise in the latter, I'd give him a 50/50 shot at beating Gilgamesh, but almost none against Ikarus. And yeah, honestly, it really all comes down to Dr. Strange and Wanda, can they defend against Druig and Sprite, and if so, can Makkari take them out quicker than they can react? Couple things wrong with this, macaroni was tagged by ikaris and almost boloed. Making it very possible for marvel, Thor, and hell maybe hulk. Second feats wise Gilgamesh hasn't even remotely demonstrated even feats even close to be called a "Thanos level bruiser". Matter of fact he was taken out fairly easily in context of the film. @Key Issues What is the lineup of Avengers? Aren’t the Eternals basically Space versions of Vision? Vision can faze through things, can undo mind control, and can shoot a power beam from his head. Thor took the entire force of a Star and survived in Space. Wanda not only mind controlled but also created 3 people with special abilities. Dr. Strange has a living cape, the Time Stone, and spells. Hulk is indestructible. Captain Marvel has all of the same abilities if not more than Ikaris. Ant-Man and Wasp could shrink so small they could go inside any of the Eternals and take them out. Groot could take out half the Eternals and he and the other Guardians of the Galaxy already took out an Eternal named Ego. The other Avengers ( Ironman, CaptAmerica, Falcon, BlackWidow, WarMachine, WinterSolider, Hawkeye, BlackPanther) bodies to throw at the Eternals as distraction. I don't know the result about their movie versions but if we compare their comic feats,Eternals are almost doomed by the powers of scarlet witch.Let's don't forget that here she infact got one of the best mentors(Dr Strange)she could ever get.She is an entity who erased almost the entire mutant genes once and then banished the freaking PHEONIX herself by uttering "NO MORE...".If avengers fought with a strategy in a way that Thor and Hulk protecting Wanda while she perform this,they have a chance to outshine Eternals. Also Hulk is immune to any telepathic/psychic attcks(even prof x couldn't do damn to him)and Thor has already knocked down a speedster faster than even Makkari,ie,THE SILVER SURFER.Wanda could react and stop Quicksilver in comics.And we all know what Dr Strange is capable of.

I think there's a discussion to be made wether Thor can resist the telepathy from Druid. Pre-awakening Thor showed a little resistence to Mind control, but Post awakening Thor wilds Stormbreaker, weapon that is stated it's sheer power alone would melt the minds of the weak and make their bodies crumble(or something like that). Scarlet witch and Dr Strange could protect the minds of her allies from mind control shananigans. And let's not forget Vision, and android who wields the Mind Stone, pretty sure he can resist too, even without the mindstone i doubt telepathy would work on an A.I And correct me if I'm wrong but Makkari couldn't hurt Ikaris despite her speed. She was just pushing him around. I would guess it would be the same with tough guys like Vision's vibranium body, Thor, Carol & amped Cap. So guess the true question would be if SW, Vision, Thor, Carol, amped Cap and *maybe* Dr. Storage could face them..... Meh 40/60 i would say, with a really good strategy.

I liked your video but let's address several issues. 1st) What are the parameters of this battle? Do the teams have prep time or do they both just show up and start fighting? 2nd) Have you not been paying attention to Stephen & Wanda? Did you not watch the What If episode where the multiversal Avengers faced off against Ultron? Stephen OR Wanda could either freeze time or throw up a barrier allowing Stephen to place protection spells on everyone so that they could become just as durable as the Eternals. Whatever mind control Druig tried would EASILY be undone by Wanda. If she can negate the powers of the mind stone on Helen Choe then undoing Druigs mind control would be a piece of cake. Oh, and I'm pretty sure either Wanda or Stephen could make it where Phastos would not be able to ANYTHING with the teams tech. That's just two avengers. Need I go on about the abilities of the others which you either blatantly ignored, downplayed, or somehow forgot.

In "What If" zombie Wanda (not even fully powered Scarlet Witch) was able to put up a barrier around her that protected her from bullets without her even paying attention in the first place. I think she can handle a few hits from Makkari at the very least. During that time, she can cast an even stronger barrier onto herself and others. Let's be honest, if it was a fair fight where each team knew of the opponents abilities, the Avengers might have a bigger chance of winning.

Neither Superman nor Ikaris outclass the Eternals the way you imply them to. Gilgamesh was shown to be consistently superior to him. Makkari would have defeated him if she didn’t keep attacking him from the same direction over and over again. Phastos incapacitated him, they didn’t even Kingo. Druig survived a full on assault from an Ikaris who was intent on killing him. Ikaris had to make sure Gilgamesh died before turning on the rest of the Eternals because he knew that he’d get destroyed trying to challenge Gilgamesh. Ikaris is strong but not as strong as Gilgamesh, nor does he hit as hard. Makkari being faster would also hit harder. Everyone has something unique, Ikaris has heat vision and flight, Phastos can conjure gadgets, Thena can conjure weapons and is the best fighter overall, Gilgamesh can amplify his attacks and is the second best fighter, Makkari is the fastest by a long shot and arguably has the strongest attacks because of that, Kingo has ranged attacks that he can power up to obliterate Deviants in one go. Sersi can literally transmute a deviant into a tree, Sprite can conjure illusions and teleport out of any fight, Druig can control the whole planet. I know you want Superman to be the most powerful but he isn’t, neither in the comics nor the movies. Same with Ikaris, Superman archetypes are always overrated. No Kingo wasn’t right, they were holding their own pretty well. Majority of them were holding back while Ikaris was explicitly trying to kill them. The only one he didn’t want to kill was Sersi. Nowhere was it stated that Phastos was draining Ikaris’s cosmic energy. But yes, any one of the Eternals pretty much wipes the floor with the Avengers. Druig being able to mind control the planet would include the Avengers as they know about them. According to Kingo, who Thor idolises, Gilgamesh and Thena are the finest warriors on Earth making them better combatants than Cap or Thor. Makkari being able to fight at the speed Captain Marvel flies at allows her to blitz EVERYONE. Druig not being able to mind control the other Eternals means that Scarlet Witch shouldn’t be able to either. Sersi being able to transmute deviants would mean she can transmute anyone else as well. The other Eternals even scaling to Makkari slightly would allow them to blitz as well. The Justice League would be a better matchup.
