with regards to grabpass you should not have any blend settings on the shader as grabpass can use transparency without it.

How did you get this to work? THe hexagon material added to any object for me is invisible. I think the template project I'm using has URP, seems to mess with a lot of things

Did you change the code? The version on the github doesn't come with a generate textures or procedural properties Edit: Read the description, Glad to see you still updating it, would love to see the texture features return maybe in the future? Besides that, I've been able to use this and modify it slightly into what I needed, just don't know how to change the texture into anything that looks good besides the default one that came with it. Is there a way to show a ripple or some sort of distortion where an object hits the force field? Really great work, thank you so much.

geometry intersection doesnt work in unity 2017.3. can you improve its compatibility? [EDIT] : I think im wrong, the Rendering path of camera should be set to Deferred or Deferred legacy. That should be enough :)

Just add your spaceship inside empty gameobject and add a negetive sign before scale components of that empty gameobject.

@@vickylance Correct. The dome is visible from outside, but when the camera moves into the dome, it becomes invisible. It affects lighting, but that's a separate subject.

I am interested in knowing how it is done to make the shield disappear procedurally. In your blog you do not explain how you did this.

Guys!!!!!!!!!!! I've made an enhenced version of this force shield, which I add procedual base texture and mask texture on it. So you can adjust the threshhold in the inspector pannel to make it disappear or appear just like in the video. Check this out:github.com/Zju-George/UnityForceFieldStrengthened
