I personally find the Logic stock compressor to do a better job at this, the release is 5ms instead of 10ms from the FabFilter C@. Dont know if this is the only factor that makes it better or not.

Nice video dude, I've been out of the game for quite awhile. But lately I've been feeling a bit of a pull to come back and make some tunes again. I'm going to be watching your videos to help me shake the rust off and make some music again. Great videos, keep up the good work!

As is signal routing, I mean if you send the dry signal with sidechain to the reverb and sidechain both signals. Or you send the signal to the reverb and then both signals to a bus for the sidechain. To explain myself better suppose I have my lead in channel 1 I apply sidechain and send it to bus 2 in which the reverb here is also added sidechain?, or send from channel 1 to bus 2 mix both signals to a third bus and there I apply the sidechain? or I apply sidechain only to the reverb.

Guys so I do my reverb at present like this 1. Dry leads into bus 2. Separate reverb bus with leads into it, then I eq the reverb, Is that not a good way to do it , asking as I aint been making music long Thanks
@jasonreviews2 жыл бұрын
i think you should make a full on course. You can charge upwards to 200 to 1000 per student.

Hi Eternize thanks for your tuto. What do you think about redline reverb recommanded by Code Black ? I have valhalla and fab R, but redline sounds bettter in my opinion, but i have for the moment the triel version and i just wanna know your feedback about it. I have also artsacoustic reverb who is insane too. Greetz from Belgium, Ced
@Eternize2 жыл бұрын
Arts Acoustic was my favourite before Pro-R. Simply because it has the most relevant parameters to adjust. I've never tried Redline, but if it has parameters like chorus, depth, width, density etc like a modern reverb should, I'm sure it's dope too!
@AAABeatbox2 жыл бұрын
I'm no pro. But hear me out. Inevitably, you want it to sound the way you want. Perhaps this is the industry standard but I always question who's to decide what is "industry standard". Can you imagine if everyone's sound sounds the same? It'll get boring. So if you stumble across something you like and gives you a little bit of an edge over another producer, go ahead man.
@JuicyClips012 жыл бұрын
Good information in this video! One question... Do you put the reverb on an aux channel or use it directly on the track?
@Eternize2 жыл бұрын
As shown in the video: aux channel to have full control of the reverb itself, and control the mix from the lead bus.
@michaelferwerda6878 Жыл бұрын
Yo Eternize, i always check your tutorials and i love your music... I was wondering do you apply reverb after you have mixed your leads with eq and compression or before? Keep up the good work! I love it!!😃
@prodbyhostile Жыл бұрын
Typically you’d want your reverb on its own channel (like a sub or bus) linked to your sound. Add an eq after your reverb as the reverb can excite lower frequencies so you can do a low cut
@sirkoenos2862 Жыл бұрын
Can you maybe save the EQ preset from fabfilter pro Q3 so i can import it in fl studio?
@Luftbubblan2 жыл бұрын
Sounds nice. About the "ghost" layer, cant a midi note trigger be enough as well? I dont know if all daws can do that tho
@Eternize2 жыл бұрын
That's what the ghost layer is? It's simply midi notes without any actual output - but even though the channel is silenced, the compressor still picks up the signal from the synth, hence why you would make adjustments to the synth.
@Luftbubblan2 жыл бұрын
@@Eternize ah oh sry. I probably missed that then and thought you where still using a signal thus The square. The way i ment you dont even need The synth, just pure midi to trigger The compressor.
@rivalzmusic2 жыл бұрын
Reverbs also good in happyhardcore? i have used mostly vintageverb is that good or should i get one of these?
@Eternize2 жыл бұрын
Ofc. Any reverb is fine, and Vintageverb is one of the better ones, so you're good.
