@kriscrossx1224 жыл бұрын
@@misterbanshee7992 Would put the lions share into voo because its just a general s&p 500 index and will go up slow but consistent with market growth and is safer. But you won't match the gains of arkk or qqq but those will be much more of a roller coaster (much less predictable). fxaix seems redundant while holding voo and qqq to me but there is nothing wrong with that approach either its more a question of how much exposure do you want to amazon, apple, Microsoft ect. If you want to diversify your profile more vti and voo will give you the entire American stock exchange with just those two holdings alone.

Its a proven fact the more you try to out perform an index the worse you screw it up! Its easy to look good in a bull market , (ARKK) , but when it goes south the index is where to be! Its QQQ the solid winner for me!
@dlwatib4 жыл бұрын
I love TQQQ, it's been very good to me so far. It's been very profitable to hold long term and buy the dips. 3x sector funds like SOXL and TECL may be worthwhile too, but I like that QQQ/TQQQ is more diversified. Dividend investors should consider QYLD, which generates income with covered calls on QQQ stocks. You don't get near as much capital appreciation or total performance as QQQ or TQQQ, but you do get much higher monthly dividends than any other stock or ETF that I'm aware of. The only other income ETF that even comes close is PFFA, which did not do well in the C-19 crash like I would have expected. The other thing to note about PFFA is the outrageous management fees. I also hold TSLA as an individual stock, so I don't want to add most ARK funds to my portfolio, but ARKG doesn't hold TSLA and I don't have any concentration of healthcare stocks in my portfolio, so I bought into ARKG at the first of the year. So far, so good.

How'd TQQQ work out for you this year?
@Kyle-MoneyProphet4 жыл бұрын
Investing into QQQ is investing into technology - It always wins, it always innovates. Radical innovation is ARK Invest. While more volatile, will produce more gains if companies are chosen properly, which DOES seem to be the case! I am 25% into the Q's, 20% into S&P (5% each going into leveraged 3X Bulls), 10% into ARKK, 10% into ARKW, 5% AAPL, 10% Tesla, 5% TAN, 5% QCLN and I will have 5-10 stocks at any time only getting 1% - 2% of portfolio, including DOCU NIO SBE QCOM DKNG ENPH NVDA and others. NASDAQ is heavily concentrated with tech companies, probably won't find oil or gas company there... My point is is that it isn't arbitrary if you choose NASDAQ you're choosing big tech as being a larger percentage of your portfolio and pushing out industrials and finance. I hold QQQM for big tech exposure and ARK funds for small/mid tech.

Would you be kind enough to elaborate ? Cheers and thank you .
@zaq554 жыл бұрын
@@ikust007 The subject is QQQ vs. ARKK. Neither is leveraged, so why compare either to a 3x fund? Since both are tech heavy, then yes, compare to a chip fund, for example XSD, or another tech fund (VGT), but not leveraged ones. That’s apples to oranges; Buicks to Lamborghinis. Dave Kreinces points out TQQQ has outperformed them all, so maybe he’s getting in some self-promotion for a leveraged fund he’s recommended that’s done very well. But if an index (NASDAQ 100) rose during a certain period, you’d expect the leveraged version of that same index to have risen even more. If you want to discuss whether a 3x fund really gives you three times the underlying index over the long-term, that’s perfectly fine, but it’s not the subject at hand.

@etfguide4 жыл бұрын
@@savannahtraderful FNGU is actually an ETN, it's not an ETF. It's a minor detail that doesn't go noticed during good times, but ETN's have credit risk from the institutions backing them. And if the institution defaults on their debt or gets close to that point, it would adversely impact an ETN whereas an ETF none of this comes into play. In 2008, Lehman Brothers Opta ETNs blew up and nobody in the ETN industry stepped up to help out. It was shocking too, because you'd think the industry would've had some smarts to instill investor confidence in the ETN marketplace.
