Just read this book yesterday. Recounted via various parables and recollections, a knight who knows his death is imminent authors a letter encapsulating the virtues, rules and concepts of knighthood that were instilled in him by those he admired, in order to pass them down to his young children. It's simple in places, and cribs existing fables and tales in some places, but I could see it being a jumping off point for parents who want to try and tackle tougher topics and subjects with their children, when they've moved beyond picture books. I enjoyed it.

So, let me see if I understand here; Ethan wrote a book to help teach kids important life rules to use at home and life and he chose to use Knights as inspiration for it? I...actually approve of this Truth be told, though; when I first stumbled upon this title...I was confused. I wondered "why would Ethan, a guy who has never been given a knighthood, write a book about the 'rules of knights?'" Now that he's explained his method, I actually highly approve of his idea. Truth be told, this would could sorely benefit from learning the rules of knights every once in a while. I only say this because things like temperance, generosity, honor and especially mercy are what our society so desperately needs (especially since the MAGA Maniacs and so-called "Woke Mob" are destroying society as we know it)
