100%. I don't smoke, drink, or use recreational drugs. I have 3 bulged discs at T7-T9. I refuse to use opiates for management at the moment. Thoracic Radiculopathy makes it feel like your organs are being ripped out 24/7. Gabapentin gave me hemipelegic migraines, and I refuse to touch opiates. Kratom helped drop the pain by about 30% allowing me to actually hold a job to take care of my family and have insurance for continued treatment. The first week you 100% get a major high. I ignored it and have stayed at the same dose for about 9 months. I don't tell people I'm using it because I don't trust others to have the same self control. I'm transparent with doctor over its use though. He warned me but also knows I don't have an addictive personality and its better than using opiates. I definitely would never recommend it to someone with even a hint of an addictive personality. I could see it really messing people up. Taking anything more 2g a dose 3x a day will make me super sick, so I have a built it moderator.

I sell Kratom here in a smokeshop in Texas, and people have used it to get off the bottle and even heroine. But if you're not carfully, it will just replace the habit and not kick it. Also, i dont think it helps with optimum withdrawal... lol, there's your fun fact for the day...

Kratom definitely helped save my life from a 10-year heroin addiction and I don't care what anyone says there are little to no side effects or detriments to the body. You know why? Because it's literally in the coffee Bean family... I mean if you think kratom's bad that's literally like saying coffee is bad. And the world is so fucked up that no one even cares lol literally no one cares but that stuff is a godsend if you know how to use it properly. If anybody reading this takes it, try taking it with like 1,000 to 1,500 mg of turmeric and if you can find it some black pepper extract capsules. Both of them are found in almost every vitamin aisle, and The turmeric especially it potentiates the kratom like 10 times as strong as it is by itself.
